The Group is currently made up of three separate yet synergistic businesses, which are Acasia Angels, Acasia Impact, and Acasia Ventures. Established in 2011, Acasia (formerly The Cairo Angels) is built by the region, for the region and has three offices in Cairo, Dubai and Lagos.</p><p><br></p><p>Acasia Group is seeking highly motivated and talented individuals to join our team as summer interns. You will work closely with our three synergistic businesses: Acasia Angels, Acasia Impact, and Acasia Ventures. Our team is passionate about creating opportunities for entrepreneurs and making a meaningful impact in the communities we serve.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ol><li>Conduct research and analysis on potential investment opportunities, market trends, and emerging technologies in the Middle East and Africa.</li><li>Contribute to the development and execution of strategic initiatives and projects across the Acasia Group businesses.</li><li>Attend team meetings, workshops, and networking events to enhance your knowledge and understanding of the venture capital and impact investing landscape.</li><li>Assist in conducting market research and competitor analysis to identify investment opportunities and trends.</li><li>Assist in organizing and coordinating events, workshops, and networking sessions.</li><li>Support the preparation of presentations and pitch materials for potential partners and stakeholders.</li><li>Assist in conducting financial analysis and modeling to assess investment and partnership viability and potential returns.</li><li>Assist in managing relationships with portfolio companies and partners, and providing support as needed.</li><li>Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory developments relevant to the ecosystem in the Middle East and Africa.</li></ol><p><br></p><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ol><li>Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in a relevant field such as business, finance, economics, or a related discipline.</li><li>Strong interest in entrepreneurship, impact investing, and the technology sector in the Middle East and Africa.</li><li>Excellent analytical and research skills, with the ability to gather and synthesize information from multiple sources.</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.</li><li>Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.</li><li>Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.</li><li>Prior internship in program management, venture capital, or startups is a plus.</li></ol><p><br></p><p>Join us at Acasia Group this summer and be part of a team that is shaping the future of entrepreneurship in the Middle East and Africa.
