<p>Profile Middle East is looking for: <strong>Subcontract Administrator Lead.</strong></p><p><br></p><p><strong>MISSION:</strong></p><p><br></p><p>Responsible for administering the Pre-Assembled Building Yard contract to be executed in a fabrication yard located in United Arab Emirates.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>TASKS:</strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li>Reporting to the Fabrication Yard Manager (at fabrication yard) and to the Project Subcontracts Manager (Client office in Milan), will be in charge to manage module fabrication contracts;</li><li>Implementing the Subcontracting Administration procedure prepared by the Project Subcontracts Manager;</li><li>Arranging kick-off meetings with the module fabrication Contractors in order to discuss about the procedures of administration (preparation of accounting, evaluation of extra works, interim and final payment certificates);</li><li>Reviewing in detail and approving the Contractor’s interim payment certificates in accordance with the Project Construction Contracts Administration Procedure, getting Fabrication Yard Manager signature for confirmation of work executed and issuing to subcontractors the authorizations for invoicing;</li><li>Assuring that extra works, claims, back charges, penalties and close out of the contract are performed / processed in accordance with the Project Procedure;</li><li>Ensuring that the final payment certificate contains all the documentation requested by the Subcontract Administration Procedure;</li><li>Verifying and checking invoices;</li><li>Preparing and issuing the evaluation of the contract price summary on a regular basis;</li><li>Preparing together with the Fabrication Yard Manager the claims preliminary assessment and assisting to claims final settlement;</li><li>Assisting the Fabrication Yard Manager in resolving disputes (if any) with contractors, about contractor’s contractual obligations and participating, as required to the site meetings with contractor;</li><li>Checking and ensuring receipt of all contract documents from Home Office;</li><li>Ensuring receipt of all drawings copy issued for construction to be properly filed for accounting record purposes;</li><li>Preparing and transmitting to the Client the draft of contract amendments due to extra works, back charges, claims;</li><li>Preparing the Performance Evaluation of contractor, and ensuring transmission to Home Office;</li><li>Assuring performance of Construction Contracts Administration activities in accordance with the Project Execution Plan and issuing Quality Forms in accordance with the Quality Management System instructions Skills / Qualifications.</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>EDUCATION &amp; EXPERIENCE:</strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li>Graduated in Civil / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering with minimum 15 years of experience in Subcontracts and Subcontracts Administration at site for Chemical and Oil &amp; Gas industries;</li><li>Knowledge of chemical / Oil &amp; Gas or Power Plants construction issues and the cost / schedule / risk factors associated;</li><li>Fluent level of written and spoken English;</li><li>Fully proficient MS Office programs;</li><li>Excellent communication and leadership skills;</li><li>Availability to move to the site;</li><li>Eligible to work in UAE.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>OTHER DETAILS:</strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li>Job Location: UAE;</li><li>Contract Duration: 18 months;</li><li>Working schedule: 10 hours x 6 days;</li><li>Starting date: October 2023.</li></ul>
