<strong><u>Job Description</u></strong><p><br></p>Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented <strong>Structural Inspector</strong> to join our team! In this role you will get to <strong>perform difficult and sometimes complex inspection tasks.</strong><p><br></p><strong><u>What You’ll Be Doing</u></strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Inspects site conditions to ensure suitability for the designed permanent works.</li><li>Gives practical advice on constructional matters.</li><li>Inspects construction, including temporary, works to ensure compliance with approved methods and contract requirements.</li><li>Interfaces with client and contractor’s staff to determine and verify project requirements.</li><li>Prepares and maintains inspection reports and site records.</li><li>Performs civil and structural tests, such as soil compaction, moisture content, aggregation, graduation, concrete slump, air entrainment, concrete compression, lines and grades surveys, bolt torques and concrete coring.</li><li>Provides general inspection on all construction labor and subcontracted tasks to ensure professional workmanship.</li><li>Verifies equipment alignment and balancing operations.</li><li>Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.</li></ul><p><br></p><strong><u>What Required Skills You’ll Bring</u></strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized University/College.</li><li>Minimum 5 years of experience in inspection of roads, bridges, underpass and pumping stations for a large construction project.</li><li>Knowledge and experience using computer software (AutoCAD, MS Office package).</li><li>Good oral and written communication skills in English.</li><li>Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and construction specifications and be thoroughly familiar with construction related processes related to area of assignment. </li></ul><p><br></p><strong><u>What Desired Skills You’ll Bring</u></strong><p><br></p><ul><li>UAE/Dubai work experience is strongly preferred.</li><li>Strong analytic capabilities and the ability to work independently.</li></ul><p><br></p><strong><u>Minimum Clearance Required To Start</u></strong><p><br></p>Not Applicable/None<p><br></p>Parsons is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity in the workplace.
