Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform the Air Traffic Data Management with a view to ensuring the provision of accurate, reliable and consistent statistical data covering all aspects of international civil aviation, achieving results such as:
- Ensure that the enterprise data management system is kept updated and validated to meet Strategic Objectives of the Organization.
- Coordinate with the airlines / operators for collection and dissemination of data.
- Ensure timely preparation of statistical data for reporting to senior management, regulatory authorities and internal stake holders.
- Supervise the development of tools and applications to facilitate data collection and dissemination with minimization of associated costs.
- Lead and manage traffic forecast activity in support of air transport planning, achieving results such as:
- Plan and initiate the development of long-term traffic forecast.
- Supervise the annual production of mid-term traffic forecasts, taking into account the needs expressed by external stakeholders and internal users.
- Ensure timely completion of special assignments related to economic analyses or major issues involving airport operations/planning and ensure development of new or improved analytical methods and quantitative models for analysis.
- Leads and manages the analysis of all airport operation processes for optimum utilization of these resources and effective planning of engineering/aero/non-aero and other related activities.
- Support in Strategic Planning process & facilitate the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) preparation for the organization
- Support & participate in the cross functional teams to drive the Strategic initiatives and update Top Management on strategic initiatives through data analysis and alert on major developments
- Support in conducting effective business reviews and providing analytic support to senior management in decision making
- Special assignments (special time bound tasks from Senior management, and DCA related to Policy, Economic study and Analysis)
- Capability building for team members through training.
Qualifications
Management Graduate with Specialization in Strategic Management or Aviation
Relevant Skills
- Aviation or Service background
- Experience in developing and implementing strategies at large or medium size organization
- Knowledge of tools / methods to evaluate socio-economic environment
- Prior experience in developing Airport Strategic plan (as employee or consultant)
