Job Description
As a project based (ending 31st of August 2023), you will be responsible for the end-to-end process of successful Supplier setup completion on Amazon systems, supplier catalog setup with periodical cost updates, and successful follow-up to Amazon Purchase Orders (POs).
β Supplier account onboarding; ensuring supplier follows E2E process of accepting Amazon onboarding invitation, Terms & Conditions, while completing the full back-office setup of required modules.
β Supplier selection creation; support suppliers with the upload of new selection on Amazon Vendor Central tool, while ensuring product attributes and costs are periodically updated to ensure best customer experience and avoid Purchase order block.
β Supplier items availability; ensure supplier item availability is constantly updated through detailed PO confirmations and / or run the necessary adjustments to item availability via Amazon Vendor Central tool.
β PO confirmation; ensure that Suppliers send timely confirmations to the Amazon POs within the agreed SLA. POs should be confirmed at an item level with specific volume allocation.
β PO booking and delivery; support suppliers to book and manage their PO appointments through the use of Amazon online tools (Carrier Central).
β PO / Items packaging; support suppliers with the education to the Amazon PO packaging standards in readiness for shipping to Amazon Fulfillment Centers (FCs).
β Supplier Issues resolve; creation and follow-up of Suppliers support help tickets on all issues of accounts, items setup and PO creation and delivery.
Key job responsibilities
SVS will support Vendor growth, focusing on: β’ Increasing the vendor selection β’ Improving the discoverability of the vendor products on Amazon β’ Improving the content of the vendor product detail pages Supporting the vendor at executing a deal strategy β’ Helping the vendor to secure availability of their products β’ Increasing the vendor traffic β’ Providing valuable insights into the vendor Amazon Business β’ Act as vendor account manager; managing the below: 1- Education & knowledge about Amazon systems, tools, and processes 2- Building up selection & catalog quality Optimizing supply chain & inventory operations 3- Driving increased traffic/conversion Working Backwards 4- Share targets on business metrics to measure the success of the business impact the program is having during the subscription period. 5- Detailed monthly reports covering catalogue and traffic metrics to track their progress. Vendors will have the option to be called-back by the Vendor Specialist if they have questions on the reports. Trainings and timely updates on internal changes, programs and tools relevant to grow their business on Amazon.
