Job Description
JOB PURPOSE
To draft communication materials and deliver communication plans of LCGPA (internal and external) as well as building, maintaining media and publishing relationships to ensure achieving targeted goals
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
DESCRIPTION
Communications Strategy
§ Develop communications strategies and operational plans that directly impact the success of LCGPA’s key initiatives.
§ Analyze the communications strategy to form an understanding of LCGPA brand, reputation and engagement to ensure reflecting it in communication material developed.
§ Regularly test and measure the effectiveness of communication methods and make recommendations for improvement.
§ Develop communications plans, including but not limited to the writing messages and launching approaches
§ Collaborate cross-functionally, working across many departments to influence, manage, and drive communications initiatives.
Communications Management
§ Prepare communication material for public presentations of executives to help ensure key messages are consistently conveyed.
§ Write, edit and format communications (e.g. key messages, press releases, etc.) to craft messages and ensure consistent brand messaging.
§ Attend editorial meetings and assist in maintaining the communications calendar and communication mediums to maximize brand and strategic impact.
§ Support in managing the promotional content and materials for all LCGPA events and distribute through appropriate channels.
§ Develop new creative material and deliverables for communication campaigns in accordance with given deadlines and release dates.
§ Identify opportunities for extending and amplifying current communications programs.

§ Follow all relevant functional policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions to ensure that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
§ Assist in the preparation of timely and accurate reports and functional deliverables to meet the functional requirements in order to achieve the desired efficiency and performance excellence.
