Job Description
<p>We are looking for Arabic speaking storekeeper with a minimum experience of 3 -5 years in UAE in the field of foodstuff. </p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Be responsible for the warehouse</li><li>Receive and inspect incoming food staff. </li><li>Perform receiving, checking, counting and storing. </li><li>Perform tasks such as picking and packing, loading and unloading of food stuff. </li><li>Issue and maintain proper records</li><li>Assist in annual stock taking</li><li>Maintain inventory system for audit purposes</li><li>Perform other warehouse duties as assigned</li><li><span>carry out inventories and inventory control activities</span></li><li><span>Maintaining an automated supply inventory database. </span></li><li><span>Take delivery of all incoming materials and reconcile with purchase orders.</span></li><li><span>Track, document, and resolve any discrepancies on received orders.</span></li><li><span>Ensure accuracy of the facility’s inventory system by updating records of physical inventory totals, receipts, adjustments, and returns</span></li><li><span>Manage inventory/supplies and ensure they are within the established minimum and maximum levels</span></li><li><span>Keep up-to-date records of receipts, records, and withdrawals from the stockroom</span></li><li><span>Responsible for packing, pricing, labeling, and returning supplies</span></li><li><span>Responsible for stock rotation and coordinating the disposal of surpluses</span></li><li><span>Oversee the handling of goods, the movement of goods. </span></li><li><span>Manage supplier relations and database as well as maintain high ethical relationships both internally and externally</span></li><li><span>Create purchase orders. </span></li><li><span>Responsible for shipping canceled or damaged items back to suppliers as appropriate.</span></li><li><span>Generating related reports to verify inventory levels and determining re-order activity and usage rates.</span></li><li><span>Initiate orders to replenish supply inventories following established guidelines and procedures in the company and follow-up with vendors and suppliers to ensure prompt delivery of items.</span></li><li><span>Conducting an inspection on the receipt of delivery from suppliers to verify the quality and quantity of materials and equipment received against specifications and units ordered, after which they dispatch the incoming items to the appropriate areas within the facility.</span></li><li><span>Prepare and maintain a variety of records related to the organization’s store activities and assist in keeping the assigned facility clean and orderly.</span></li></ul><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p><strong>Candidates should have the following: </strong></p><p><strong> </strong></p><ul><li>Good knowledge in FIFO & LIFO </li><li>a valid driver’s license, forklift certification, or willingness to acquire and maintain forklift certification</li><li>minimum 3-5 years working knowledge UAE of storekeeping, general warehousing, and familiarity with issuing, stocking, ordering, and receiving goods, and understanding of cycle counts on inventory.</li><li>Applicants are required to have some computer skills to work with the computerized inventory systems and data entry skills to update the inventory control system</li><li>Great written and verbal communication skills</li></ul><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>Knowledge of proper bookkeeping and inventory management</li><li>Familiarity with standard concepts and best practices in a stockroom or warehouse environment</li><li>Analytical mind with ability to make accurate mathematical computations</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills</li><li>Competencies in data entry, analysis, and management</li><li>Keen attention to detail and ability to effectively manage time</li><li>Ability to safely and legally operate a forklift</li><li>Skills to operate common office equipment</li><li>Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent</li><li>2+ years of experience in storekeeping, inventory control, or recordkeeping</li><li>Valid driver’s license and willingness to acquire and maintain forklift certification</li></ul><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p><u>Kindly mention </u><strong><u>STOREKEEPER CV</u></strong><u> on the subject admin@adamtrd.com</u></p>
