Stock Controller

Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced stock controller for a retail showroom with large number of items in stocks. Job duties and responsibilities include:
– Receiving new items, checking them for any defects, storing them in relevant locations, entering their details in the accounting system and tagging them
– Monitoring stock movements from different locations and updating the system of their new locations
– At the end of each day ensuring sale and delivery of the correct items and updating the system accordingly, if required
– Preparing purchase orders for new items as required by the sales team
– Producing reports of slow moving items and making recommendations for faster sales
– Producing reports of consignment items and statement of accounts for the Consigners
