Job Description

<p><strong>Job Purpose: </strong></p><p> Directing and managing activities and teams related to steel construction projects; providing the needed support to the Site Managers; providing suitable coordination between projects to assure equal distribution of resources.</p><p><strong>Job Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Reviewing technical plans drawn by architects and engineers</li><li>Planning project assembly and execution in coordination with Site Engineer and Site Manager.</li><li>Cutting and shaping steel as per the drawing specifications.</li><li>Installing and fixing together steel girders, pipework, and beam sections to make a steel framework.</li><li>Meeting deadlines to ensure no delays in projects schedules.</li><li>Lifting and guiding components into position with tower cranes</li><li>Working on-site, often at height.</li></ul><p><strong>Academic Qualifications, Knowledge, and Skills:</strong></p><ul><li>Leaving School Certificate/Diploma in relevant is preferrable.</li><li>Working experience of 2 to 5 years in steel erection at site.</li><li>Knowledge of Steel Fabrication, Steel Structural and PEB industry is an advantage.</li><li>Knowledge of Safety rules and regulations is a must.</li></ul><p><strong>Skills</strong></p><ul><li>Good communication.</li><li>Time Management</li><li>Team Management</li><li>Knowledge of construction</li><li>Logical thinking skills</li><li>Good level of physical fitness</li><li>Confidence to work at height.</li><li>Awareness of health and safety guidelines</li><li>Good team working skills.</li></ul>
