<p><strong>Position Overview:</strong></p><p>We are seeking an experienced Steak Sandwiches/Steak House Chef to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating high-quality dishes and a minimum of 3 years of experience in the culinary industry, with a particular focus on steakhouse cuisine. The successful candidate will have a track record of excellence in a similar role, with prior work experience in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li>Prepare and cook high-quality steakhouse dishes, including steak sandwiches, to the highest standard of presentation, taste, and texture.</li><li>Manage kitchen staff, ensuring that they follow all recipes, portion sizes, and quality standards.</li><li>Monitor food supplies, order ingredients, and manage inventory to ensure a consistent supply of high-quality ingredients.</li><li>Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen environment, following all health and safety regulations.</li><li>Develop new recipes and menu items to keep the restaurant’s offerings fresh and appealing.</li><li>Ensure that all kitchen equipment is properly maintained and in good working order.</li><li>Train new kitchen staff and assist in the development of existing staff members.</li><li>Work closely with restaurant management to ensure that all aspects of the kitchen are running smoothly and efficiently.</li><li>Adhere to all food and labor cost budgets and manage expenses effectively.</li><li>Ensure that all food served meets the restaurant’s high standards for taste, quality, and presentation.</li><li>Stay current on industry trends and best practices to continue to innovate and improve the restaurant’s offerings.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li>Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Steak Sandwiches/Steak House Chef in a high-volume, high-quality restaurant environment.</li><li>Previous work history in the GCC countries.</li><li>Proven ability to manage a team of kitchen staff and produce high-quality dishes in a timely manner.</li><li>Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills.</li><li>Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, ingredients, and kitchen equipment.</li><li>Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.</li><li>Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.</li><li>Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality.</li><li>Ability to adapt to changing menus and recipes.</li><li>Relevant culinary education and/or certifications are preferred.</li><li>If you meet these qualifications and are passionate about creating delicious steakhouse cuisine, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity!</li></ul>
