<p><strong><em>Hospice Egypt</em></strong> is a project of Jossab foundation that provides hospice services that improve the quality of life and allow the terminal patient to pass away in dignity. Terminally ill patients are patients who no longer receive curative treatment and are receiving hospice care. It also provides support to the family members of the patient even after the patient passes away.</p><p> Hospice Egypt services are completely free of charge to adult terminally ill patients regardless of their race, religion, gender, or socio-economic class.</p><p>The project receives patients referred from different referral bodies and provides its services which are nursing, medical, social, psychological, and financial support through its trained multidisciplinary mobile hospice team.</p><p>Hospice Egypt continues to meet its mission and develop its services by establishing a new stationary hospice building to serve terminally ill patients who have no caregivers supporting them. </p><p><br></p><p>The candidate we are looking for should be an experienced professional with high skills in leadership and excellent skills in understanding, planning, organizing, and managing the organization’s services.</p><p><br></p><p><strong><em><u> Responsibilities:</u></em></strong></p><ul><li>Ensures on a daily basis all Hospice services maintain compliance with regulation, legislation, and best practice guidance.</li><li>Actively participates with the Hospice team members of the stationary Hospice for assessing appropriate care to patients regarding measures for pain and symptom management.</li><li>Ensures the delivery of safe, high-quality care, for patients accessing stationary hospice services, through effective management systems and processes</li><li>Close monitor the plan of care so that the team makes decisions that are appropriate and responsive to patients ’ needs and expectations.</li><li>Resolve issues escalating from operations in the stationary Hospice and require coordination with the management team.</li><li>Oversees and reviews the management and costs of all supplies, including ordering, distribution, and utilization.</li><li>Delivers orientation sessions for all new staff as it relates to job duties and responsibilities and ensures that everyone in the Hospice has clarity of their roles and responsibilities</li><li>Ensures training and development in the workforce are clearly defined and resourced to enable staff and volunteers to contribute to the Hospice operations.</li><li>Analyze service data and prepares reports for the management team and board of trustees on all activities of the stationary Hospice operations.</li><li>Develops a cooperative relationship and communicates effectively with external parties, referral bodies, physicians, patients, and families.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong><em><u>Job Requirements</u></em></strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in medicine.</li><li>A Master’s degree in healthcare management and administration is an asset.</li><li> Minimum of 5 years of management experience in healthcare services.</li><li>Proficiency in both written and oral communication in Arabic and English is a must.</li><li>Excellent basic computer skills.</li><li>Strong problem solving, decision-making, time management, organizational and analytical skills.</li><li>Strong interpersonal and communications skills.</li></ul><p></p>
