Job Summary
We are looking for an SRE Engineer who has a strong background in software engineering, with experience working in an agile engineering team and always keen for getting into new technologies. You will be working in a challenging project that will require high attention to details, critical thinking, problem solving skills, and innovation. Your team has a major impact on engineering our delivery by continuous optimization and improvements, the team will be responsible for large scale infrastructure and applications management.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Support production environment
- Solve incidents within SLAs
- Provides management, maintenance, monitoring, and automation to all environments
- Handle code deployments in all environments
- Monitor metrics and innovate ways to improve
- Work closely with development and testing teams and provide solutions to optimize the software development lifecycle
- Brainstorm for new ideas and ways to improve our daily work
- Follow best practices and procedures and improve them
Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field
- Solid experience in production support.
- Experience in application management, deployment and monitoring is a must
- Experience in Ansible is a must
- Experience in bash scripting is a must
- Experience in Redhat JBoss EAP is a plus
- Experience in CI/CD pipelines is a plus
- Understanding software development life cycle
- Good knowledge of AWS or Azure or GCP is a plus
