Job description:<br><br> Job Summary <p>The role requires the agent to carry out the day-to-day issuances of policies (All lines) in accordance with instruction from Underwriter / Manager as per express or implied policies, processes and procedures of the company; using information and knowledge of market practices, more in a decisive level to independently judge and correctly act to the call of day to day process situations <br><br></p> Job Responsibilities <ul> <li>Liaise with customers and inter-departments to satisfy the procedural checks in relation to policy issuance</li> <li>Manage all cordial relationships with both internal and external customers through timely checks and discussions</li> <li>Take in advance, monthly renewal reports and seek Underwriting opinions on the same and thereafter own the timely issuance of renewals</li> <li>Handle walk in and email customer queries on in house products</li> <li>Be able to review account performance, claims information and payment history client wise and retrieve relevant reports when called for.</li> <li>Able to minimally reply to re-insurer queries in support with Underwriters – With time</li> <li>Evaluates client documents, order the risk to be ready for Underwriter assessment</li> <li>Coordinating with claims, IT and finance department upon document requests</li> <li>Have a general idea about underwriting changes in the market through discussions</li> <li>Learn new products within or outside the same line</li> <li>Month End and Quarterly Closings on time</li> <li>Assist system development with IT to create a seamless automation process of all products within FGA – With experience</li> <li>Error free policy document issuance and proper documentation – Primary function</li> <li>Stock end adjustments – Tracking and averaging at year end from multiple sources</li> <li>Formalize and summate figures for Underwriting analysis of the Treaty figures through reports retrieval</li> <li>Able to lead and own any product channel with time, guide with its marketing ideas – Egs Travel</li> <li>Examines and evaluate documents such as applications, inspection reports, financial reports, claims history and any other pertinent information to determine degree of risk, underwriting and appropriate market.</li> <li>Has direct knowledge of the job skills in the underwriting positions including clear understanding of insurance processing systems, cancellations, policy changes and calculations</li> <li>Be known and accustomed to the general FGA Treaty Provisions</li> </ul> Candidate Requirements <p>Candidate Requirements:<br>• Must be in an underwriting role with minimum 2 years of related underwriting experience. <br><br></p> <p>Education:<br>• Bachelor’s Degree<br>• Certification in Insurance minimum CERT CII or equivalent. (FIII /ACII/AINS/CPCU/AHIP /LOMA/CRIS/ARe/ARM or their equivalent shall be an added advantage)<br><br></p>
