<strong>Purpose of the job</strong><p><br></p>To work as Sr. supervisor corporate data network &amp; security operations, responsible for the operations, support, implementation and planning of Corporate data network equipment serving the commercial and enterprise needs.<p><br></p><strong>Duties And Responsibilities</strong><p><br></p>Participate in effective spare parts management for all equipment under responsibility<p><br></p><ul><li>Ensure the presence of proper and complete network documentation and monitoring for both new projects and the operational network </li><li>Proper Network Performance and Activities reporting to Department Management/Top Management when needed.</li><li>Act as a an expertise in the field facilitating knowledge transfer to Team members.</li><li>Participate in handling complex data network projects, and ability to provide technical proposals that speed problem resolution or better implementation of WOs.</li><li>Plays key role in network design reviews for new projects.</li><li>Ensure a proper methodology during the diagnosis of problems, taking appropriate actions and handling the business priorities.</li><li>Follow up on daily team activities and problems resolution with concerned teams.</li><li>Follow up with vendors all pending problems and escalate to higher levels if SLAs are not being followed or if the business is being affected as a result of problems.</li><li>Schedule implementation plans for network projects and reallocate the needed resources as needed without affecting the daily operations or coverage needs.</li><li>Coordinate with other teams inside or outside Technology dept for daily operations or implementation of new tasks.</li><li>Review and update operational procedures as needed and propose solutions to enhance the operational environment.</li><li>Follow up existing problems and daily actions with staff and vendors.</li><li>Technically support network installation, and operations in LAN/WAN environment.</li><li>Perform regular network modifications through work orders.</li><li>Participate in all Orange Projects carried over Data Network.</li><li>Follow up existing problems and daily actions with staff and vendors.<br></li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Job specification</strong><p><br></p><strong>Education</strong><p><br></p>Bachelor of Science in Engineering – Electronics &amp; Communications or Computer Engineering Departments.<p><br></p><strong>Experience</strong><p><br></p><ul><li> At least have 6 years of experience in network implementation and troubleshooting.</li><li>Good knowledge of data network concepts and devices(IP networks, Switching, Routing protocols, IP VPNs, firewalls, Nexus, load balancers).</li><li>Experience with F5 load balancers for LTM and ASM.</li><li>Experience with Cisco data center switching (Catalyst 6500, Nexus 2k/5k/7k/9K/1000v) and Nexus technologies such as VPC and Fabric Path.</li><li>Good knowledge of cloud computing technologies, Cisco UCS, MDS SAN switches, OTV, EMC storage solutions and VMware.</li><li>Required Technical certifications at least(CCNP/CCSP/SANS Security)</li><li>CCIE Security is a plus</li><li>Solid Knowledge of Juniper and Cisco firewalls is a must.<br></li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Skills &amp; Abilities</strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Team player, result &amp; customer oriented.</li><li>Quick learner with an endless appetite for knowledge</li><li>Reporting Skills.</li><li>Ability to work under pressure.</li><li>Problem Solving Troubleshooting Skills.</li><li>Excellent Communication Skills</li><li>Flexibility and Business Sense</li><li>Driving License.<br></li></ul>
