Purpose of the job

Duties and responsibilities

Act like a source of converged PaCo knowledge for all employees in the team & in the other department whenever needed. Be a reference when comes to solve complex problems related to converged PaCo Interface with all teams inside & outside the technology department to solve any converged PaCo operational issue Be in contact with VM & procurement & sales & finance teams whenever needed when comes to issuing POs & support related to converged PaCO equipment . Be completely aware of mobile data/ADSL charging scenarios, and solve complex charging problems when related to PaCO . Solve converged PaCo Network (gprs/3G/LTE) problems on 24/7 basis for all PaCo equipment located in all Orange PaCo sites Interface with converged PaCo vendors when it comes to maintain the converged PaCo SLA , controlling the vendors performance and supporting PaCo equipment . Follow up on daily PaCo team activities ( converged PaCO equipment health check, status reports, implementations, migrations) by coordinating with his colleagues & with different teams inside and outside the technology department. Participate in handling complex PaCo network projects and provide technical proposals that speed up the problem resolution or better implement Work Orders & propose better ideas that serves in handling any problem or failure efficiently. Ensure applying a proper methodology during the diagnosis of converged PaCo problems, taking appropriate actions and handling the business priorities. Follow up with converged PaCo equipment vendors all pending problems and escalate to higher management levels if SLAs are not met or if the business is being affected due to problems. Schedule implementation plans for network projects and reallocate the needed resources as needed without affecting the daily operations or coverage needs. Ensure proper documentation and regular reporting of converged PaCo network performance and team activities to department management. Implement, test and accept all PaCo network projects, new equipment & new links. Play a key role in PaCo network design reviews for new projects by adequately revising WOs and layouts. Work efficiently with incident & RFCs management tools (SM, SD). Review and update PaCo operational procedures as needed . Ensure the vEPC system integrity and improved KPIs through technically controlling the Huaweii managed service team.

Minimum 4 year of experience ,

Skills and abilities

Technical certification in CCNP/CCDP/CCSP/JNCIP/JNCIS/CCIE/JNCIE are preferred. High experience of the PaCo network (GGSN, SGSN, IPWORKS, DNS, Routers, switches, AAA, FWs, MLSs managed by different vendors (cisco, juniper, Ericsson, Nokia) Awareness of WAN technologies ATM, FR and X25 . Good background in networking and different data services (WEB, WAP, MMS, Blackberry, data roaming, CWS). Good knowledge mobile & ADSL communication & charging scenarios . Good knowledge about monitoring/alarming/fault management systems (NETSCOUT, NNM, NETACT, TEKTRONIX TRAFFICA, OVPI) Very good experience in Linux & Unix administration. Skills and abilities Very good English both spoken and written.
