The Project Manager is responsible for orchestrating the successful delivery of Services engagements. Project Manager’s are expected to drive projects to successful completion (on-time, on budget, with high Customer satisfaction) while maintaining billable efforts and protecting project profitability.<p><br></p><strong><u>Key Accountabilities</u></strong><p><br></p><strong> Strategy / Project Management: </strong><p><br></p><ul><li> Team leadership – direct and indirect – over large-scale technical engagements (4-10 team members, over $500K USD, over 6 months duration, more than 1 product suite). </li><li> Establish and lead recurring governance meetings including preparation of materials and working with Customer Project Manager and key internal and external stakeholders to review key project information. </li><li> Deliver against the expected internal cadence. </li><li> Delivery within Time, Scope and Budget. </li></ul><p><br></p><strong><u>Qualifications/Experience/Certifications</u></strong><p><br></p><ul><li> PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or other formal training in Project Management methodology (PRINCE 2 Practitioner). </li><li> ITIL Foundation. </li></ul><p><br></p><strong><u>Critical Experiences</u></strong><p><br></p><ul><li> Experience with ITSM Software (Helix ITSM / Remedy BMC knowledge preferred). </li><li> Experience managing all phases of software Implementation project lifecycle. </li><li> Proven team leadership – direct and indirect – over large scale technical engagements (4-10 team members, over $500K USD, over 6 months duration, more than 1 product suite) </li><li> International Experience, managing people from different countries and with various cultural backgrounds. </li><li> Experience managing recovery projects (in flight projects in trouble – taking over from another project team) and turning them around to a successful conclusion. </li><li> Experience solving problems. </li><li> Understanding of different software development methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, etc.). </li><li> Must be familiar with other IT management and have a working knowledge of IT operations and management. </li><li> Able to demonstrate experience in IT Service Management and Cloud Computing Domains. </li><li> At least 4 years’ experience at the Senior Project Manager level (involving the following experiences). </li><li> Exposure to managing multiple simultaneous projects and cross team dependencies. </li><li> Managed enterprise level projects for large, complex customers. </li><li> Managed projects delivering multiple integrated solution sets. </li><li> Communicating experience at all levels Project manager through to Corporate level. </li></ul><p><br></p>Our commitment to you!<p><br></p><ul><li> BMC’s culture is built around its people.
