Procurement Representative provides support to the major direct material spend in raw materials, packaging materials and contract manufacturing categories / country support. Procurement Reps may also work in a specialty area such as compliance, system, processes and analytics (CSPA). This position typically reports to a Sr. Procurement Representative or Procurement Manager as per the structure available.<p><br></p><strong> What’s in it For You:</strong><p><br></p>After spending 1-2 years in this position an associate will have the following key experiences:<p><br></p><ul><li> Develop a level of expertise in an assigned area</li><li> Tactical negotiation skills</li><li> Gain broader procurement management and process management and people management knowledge</li><li> Able to execute on TDC sourcing processes</li><li> Exposure to management both within and across departments</li><li> Basic team management skills</li><li> Enhance Presentation and communication skill</li></ul><p><br></p><strong> What You Will Do:</strong><p><br></p><ul><li> Lead by example the regional and global Compliance, safety and ethical initiatives</li><li> Manages day-to-day activities within designated supplier relationships in their assigned categories /region.</li><li> Manages service level and quality complaint resolution as required for existing supplier base</li><li> Identifies, communicates, and supports process improvements for materials or services in assigned areas and with key stakeholders as required</li><li> Uses TDC (Total Delivered Cost) sourcing processes and tools to effectively manage assigned sub-categories</li><li> Responsible for execution and proposing sourcing strategies and savings projects within assigned sub-categories</li><li> Responsible for sourcing part of GMI (Gross Margin Improvement) and Localization projects</li><li> Acts as second line of defense in expediting orders to ensure adherence to contracted delivery terms and investigates and resolves problems as required</li><li> Identifies alternate suppliers and/or alternate materials/processes and drives approval process</li><li> Owns contract process for assigned categories / region. Responsibility for ensuring contracts within the category are updated, accurate, and uploaded in the required contract system</li><li> Responsible for financial reporting of savings projects and headwinds. Manages the tight materials process to ensure security of supply</li><li> Support Ecolab’s quality systems through engagement with suppliers to work toward successful corrective action resolution and continued quality</li><li> Leads savings projects, TDC sourcing process or other initiatives that supports achieving team goals</li><li> Manages and leads the assigned team</li><li> Collaborates with regional / global sourcing teams</li></ul><p><br></p><strong> Position Details:</strong><p><br></p>This position is based at <strong>Ecolab office or plant in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia</strong> as per requirement.<p><br></p>5-7 years of procurement experience is expected with a chemical background as a must.<p><br></p><strong> Minimum Qualifications:</strong><p><br></p>Bachelor’s Degree in related field (Candidate with Chemical background preferred)<p><br></p><strong> Preferred Qualifications:</strong><p><br></p>Science graduate with chemistry specialization or Batchelor in Chemical / Mechanical / Industrial Engineering<p><br></p>years of procurement experience is expected with a preferred chemical background.<p><br></p>#i-imea<p><br></p><strong> Our Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion</strong><p><br></p>At Ecolab, we believe the best teams are diverse and inclusive, and we are on a journey to create a workplace where every associate can grow and achieve their best.
