<strong>Job Description And Qualifications</strong><p><br></p>Job Description Summary<p><br></p>As a Senior Process Engineer at the Jazan IGCC you will support the commissioning then operations phases of the project to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable plant start up and subsequent operation<p><br></p><strong>Job Description</strong><p><br></p><strong>Nature &amp; Scope</strong><p><br></p>The Jazan IGCC is the world’s largest IGCC and ASU facility producing 2100 MMSCFD syngas, 18,000 MT/Day Oxygen and 4 Gigawatts of power. Facilities and assets include; residue gasification, acid gas clean up (Rectisol), soot ash recovery, sulphur recovery (Claus &amp; Scot), combined cycle power plants, materials handling systems, hydrogen recovery, air separation, water utilities systems and waste water treatment facilities.<p><br></p><strong>Principal Accountabilities</strong><p><br></p><strong>Safety</strong><p><br></p>Maintain a safe work environment. Demonstrate leadership with all company &amp; industry safe work processes to prevent <u>all</u> injuries. Ensure proper documentation is maintained for safety related activities.<p><br></p><strong>Engineering:</strong><p><br></p>You will provide process engineering technical input and task leadership across the following:<p><br></p>All commissioning activities including Commissioning Engineering Support, Commissioning and Startup Procedure Review and Pre-Startup Safety Review;<p><br></p>Reviews of process safety hazards prior to startup including providing input for review Safety Integrity Level assessments and Layer Of Protection Analysis;<p><br></p>Field validation of SIS and DCS systems with Control and Process Control Engineers;<p><br></p>Control room operations during first start-up to guide Operations and ensure safe startup;<p><br></p>The identification of performance gaps, troubleshooting of problems, and development of solutions to resolve plant operating issues.<p><br></p>The development and delivery of the performance testing program for the facility following successful startup<p><br></p>Identification, development and driving improvements to meet financial targets.<p><br></p>Process safety reviews including HAZOP.<p><br></p>Driving the management of change process to ensure that all plant modifications have considered safety, reliability, operability and financial impacts.<p><br></p>Providing effective interfaces with technical functions in other departments and operations Managers.<p><br></p>Development and execution of process design aspects for smaller projects and plant modifications.<p><br></p>Development of functional requirement specifications and scope of work packages for larger plant modifications and expansions and support the execution team during project lifecycle.<p><br></p>Chair design and management of change review meetings.<p><br></p>Providing training to operations and engineering teams<p><br></p><strong>Job Requirements</strong><p><br></p>Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Chemical Engineering with minimum of 15 years’ experience, including in plant engineering or operating plant engineering and preferably with one or more of the processes and technologies used in the facility Have a good operating knowledge to understand the requirements of start-up, shut down, and load changes. Balanced multi-discipline understanding in process engineering, DCS controls, process safety and equipment design Process Safety Management experience, fully understanding the requirements of process safety systems, including relief devices, and safety instrumented systems. Have experience of leading the management of change process for proposed modifications to a design or operating plant. Have experience with managing project process documentation, including P&amp;IDs; functional logic tables; alarm and trip settings; critical safety tables; control strategies; and operating procedures/training manuals through commissioning. Critical thinking skills and problem-solving capability. Be a strong and effective leader of a team of process engineers or a dedicated multi-disciplinary technical task force with experience of planning your tasks/projects and delivering them to a budget and schedule.
