Including liaison with all internal/external stakeholders to develop solutions in compliance with NEOM’s vision, requirements &amp; constraints.<p><br></p>Will lead and manage all strategic needs and mitigate all risks pertaining to NEOM Operations. Will also be responsible to ensure that all new facilities conform to the project Master plan intent and are aligned within the approved land use and business strategy/models.<p><br></p><strong>Key Accountabilities &amp; Activities</strong><p><br></p>Technical<p><br></p><ul><li> Liaises with all other departments / sectors manages any applicable interfaces and collaborates with key leaders to deliver best in class corporate and strategic technical support to be aligned with NEOM’s short and long-term objectives. </li><li> Maintain outstanding relationships with all operating groups, division leadership, project management, design management, and construction management. </li><li> Ensuring compliance with industry codes and standards both national and international. </li><li> Assist in the development of scope of works, procurement of contracts, presentations, responding to bidder queries and conducting technical evaluation </li><li> Responsible for the development of engineering guidelines and standards. </li><li> Ensuring compliance with industry codes and standards both national and international. </li><li> Maintains scope of works, records, drawings, specifications, and documents </li><li> Schedules, attends, or leads relevant meetings with executors &amp; stakeholders </li><li> Responsible for the development of engineering best practices. </li><li> Providing engineering design review and support to NEOM projects. </li><li> Review relevant documents, provide feedback and recommendation </li><li> Responsible for the planning and budgeting for activities. </li><li> Creating a motivating and attractive environment for team members. </li><li> Provides meaningful, accurate historical data and reporting. </li><li> Perform the Lesson Learned and Bench-Marking approach for future projects. </li></ul><p><br></p>People Management<p><br></p><ul><li> Proactively manage and lead a team of multidisciplinary backgrounds. </li><li> Identify strengths, gaps, and weaknesses of team members and work with the team on plans to address shortfalls in performance and expectations </li><li> Collaboratively work with assigned team members to set annual performance goals and objectives (and conduct incremental performance reviews) </li><li> Coach and mentor team members </li></ul><p><br></p><strong> KEY STAKEHOLDERS/MAIN CONTACTS </strong><p><br></p><strong> Internal </strong><p><br></p><strong> External </strong><p><br></p><ul><li> NEOM Leadership </li><li> Sector Heads </li><li> All Management </li><li> Consultants </li><li> Service providers </li><li> Government Agencies </li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Qualifications / Requirements</strong><p><br></p><strong> Knowledge and Experience </strong><p><br></p><ul><li> Deep understanding of Project Management, Engineering, and Construction Procedures within the Built Environment. </li><li> 7-10 years of experience in engineering, including standards and guidelines development for buildings and associated infrastructure. </li><li> Good knowledge of Project Management work process, procedures, and techniques </li><li> Specific knowledge of the following areas is preferred for the position: </li><li> Experience with industry standards development. </li><li> Experience with development of engineering best practices and guidelines. </li><li> Having strong sense of evolving technologies and their potential applications. </li><li> Experience with reviewing engineering design packages. </li><li> Good understanding of EPC industry practices, processes, and standards and their impact on project activities. </li><li> Excellent awareness of Health &amp; Safety legislation.
