They are what we believe, what customers can expect, and how we deliver.<p><br></p><strong><u>Project Description</u></strong><p><br></p>NEOM Project Summary: Saudi Arabian Bechtel Company will provide executive project management consultancy services (including technical, commercial, and construction management) for the development of certain defined aspects of the NEOM Infrastructure in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.” NEOM is a planned cross-border city in the Tabuk Province of northwestern Saudi Arabia . The site is near the Red Sea and the borders of Egypt , Israel , and Jordan . It will cover a total area of 26,500 km2 (10,200 sq. mi) and will extend 460 km along the coast of the Red Sea.” NEOM will be the home and workplace to more than a million residents from around the world. It will include towns and cities, ports and enterprise zones, research centers, sports and entertainment venues, and tourist destinations. As a hub for innovation, entrepreneurs, business leaders, and companies will come to research, incubate, and commercialize new technologies and enterprises in groundbreaking ways.<p><br></p><strong><u>Position Summary</u></strong><p><br></p>Sr HS&E Officer helps the implementation of ESH management programs, systems and processes; provides the technical oversight of the environment, safety and health activities; and provides the overall support for a specific area to be successful in controlling the risk of harm to people, property and the environment.<p><br></p><strong><u>Essential Job Duties</u></strong><p><br></p>Actively helps area leaders in the implementation of the ESH program Monitors the implementation of the ESH program and reports successes and areas of improvement Liaises and openly communicates with area leaders and the GBU ESH Manager on area status and needs Identifies best practices for implementation Maintains a working relationship with client representatives, leaders and other ESH team members Participates in area leader meetings to identify and report on ESH requirements Acts as the lead investigator for any significant incident in their area Supervises and maintains a team that provides in-field ESH support to all construction areas Identifies activities that directly reduce risk<p><br></p><strong><u>Knowledge, Skills And Experience</u></strong><p><br></p>Leadership skills to enable a team to be successful – coach, mentor, participate, direct Professional skill set to deliver quality outputs of an ESH program High level of written and verbal communication Attributes that openly display ESH as a personal value Ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines, targets and objectives Knowledge of safety in design (desirable)<p><br></p><strong>Shaping tomorrow together</strong><p><br></p><strong>Bechtel is one of the most respected global engineering, construction, and project management companies.
