Job Description

<p><strong>Job Purpose :</strong></p><p>Operate, maintain and supervise the company network and related services to achieve and enhance service stability, network performance, availability, and customer satisfaction.</p><p><strong>Duties &amp; Responsibilities : </strong></p><p><br></p><p>Provide 2nd tier technical support to front office and other Operations teams with regards to network infrastructure and services.</p><p> • Follow the escalation model depending on the severity of the situation. </p><p>• Perform daily and monthly preventive maintenance tasks as per the plan covering the network elements. </p><p>• Produce reports about the routine activities, network performance and capacity review. </p><p>• Perform proactive analysis of the network performance and logs, act against abnormalities as per the method of procedures and operations guidelines and propose guidelines for optimization and enhancements. • Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies. </p><p>• Submit, perform planned works and activities (upgrades, restorations, Fiber cuts…etc.) in the network in coordination with the Field Services team and the NOC team and as per the planned activities and change management procedures. </p><p>• Handover activities to RFS &amp; follow up with contractor / vendors for network activation and integration activities to provide desired support for core network. </p><p>• Perform provisioning’ implementation covering the service design, installations, provisioning, collocation, testing and handover. </p><p>• Document complete records along with activation dates. • Maintaining and administration of IGW network, DNS, CGNs.</p><p><strong><em> Required Experience &amp;Education: </em></strong>Bachelors in Engineering in Computers/IT or equivalent</p><p>VCAP, VCP , CCNP, ‘</p><ul><li>6+ years’ experience in VMware virtualization</li></ul>
