Job Description
We are currently seeking a talented Content Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sports, exceptional writing and editing skills, and the ability to curate and create compelling content for our app. Fluency in English and Arabic is a requirement for this role, as the candidate will be responsible for curating and editing content in both languages.<p><br></p><ul><li>Curate and Edit News Content: Source news from various reliable sports outlets, such as websites, and other relevant sources. Edit and adapt the news articles to suit our app’s format, style, and tone while maintaining accuracy and credibility.</li><li>Write Original Articles (Preferred): Create high-quality, engaging, and informative articles on sports-related topics. These articles may cover sports news, analysis, player profiles, match previews and reviews, opinion pieces, and more. Produce well-researched, compelling content to captivate our user base.</li><li>Content Planning and Strategy: Collaborate with the content team to plan and execute content strategies that align with our app’s objectives and target audience. Stay updated with the latest sports trends, events, and developments in the region to create relevant and timely content.</li><li>Social Media Content Creation (Preferred): Develop engaging content for social media platforms to promote our app, increase brand visibility, and drive user engagement among users. Create eye-catching posts, captions, and multimedia content (images, videos, GIFs) that resonate with our target audience.</li><li>Content Quality Assurance: Ensure the accuracy, grammar, spelling, and overall quality of all content published on our app. Conduct thorough proofreading, fact-checking, and review processes to maintain high editorial standards for content.</li><li>Content Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyze the performance of content on our app, identifying key metrics and trends among users.
