Specialty Coffee Barista
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Specialty Coffee Barista to join our team at 65 Degrees in Jeddah. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating high-quality coffee beverages and providing excellent customer service. As a Specialty Coffee Barista, you will be responsible for crafting unique coffee beverages, maintaining cleanliness and organization in the coffee shop, and ensuring that customers have an exceptional experience.
Responsibilities:
- Greeting and serving customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Taking customer orders and preparing specialty coffee beverages, such as latte art, pour-overs, and espresso-based drinks
- Maintaining and operating coffee equipment, such as grinders and espresso machines
- Maintaining a clean and organized coffee shop, including equipment, counters, and seating areas
- Following health and safety procedures and protocols
- Offering menu recommendations and providing excellent customer service
- Managing inventory of coffee beans and other supplies
- Participating in team meetings and contributing to a positive work environment
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Specialty Coffee Barista is preferred
- Strong knowledge of coffee, including different brewing methods and bean origins
- Ability to craft high-quality specialty coffee beverages, including latte art
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
- Fluent in Arabic and English
