<p><strong>Neonatal Intensive Care Nurse </strong></p><p><strong>Medical City for Military and Security Services </strong></p><p><strong>Muscat, Sultanate of Oman</strong></p><p> </p><p>The Medical City for Military and Security Services (MCMSS) in Muscat Oman is a Tertiary/Quaternary Care level city providing services to patients of different age groups in different specialties. </p><p> </p><p>MCMSS is seeking to appoint<strong> Specialized Neonatal Intensive Care Nurse, </strong>who is a highly motivated individual to develop his/her professional career within the MCMSS. </p><p> </p><p><strong>Education/Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor or Diploma in Nursing with minimum of 5 years’ experience in NICU (level 3 or 4).</li><li>Or Bachelor in Nursing with NICU certificate with minimum of 3 years’ experience in NICU (level 3 or 4).</li><li>Prometric passed.</li><li>Data flow. </li><li>Valid NRP.</li><li>Current and clean medical license to practice in country of origin/ country of practice.</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>Experience Post-Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>5 years in NICU (at least level 3).</li><li>Involved in preceptorship.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong><span class=”ql-cursor”> </span>Job Duties/Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Care of premature and critical infant.</li><li>Able to handle NICU equipment’s (ventilators and cardiac monitor).</li><li>Capable to transfer sick infants from one hospitals to another.</li><li>Participates in health education programs through orientation and scientific presentations.</li><li>Adheres to policies, guidelines, plans and programs of MCMSS.</li><li>Performs all duties assigned to his/her designation. </li><li>Performs all relevant interventions related to his/her field of specialization.</li><li>Completes and maintains his/her set of clinical privileges.</li><li>Performs other duties as assigned/directed by the chairperson/ head of the department. </li></ul><p> </p><p>Salary will be based upon qualification, experience and availability of vacancy, using Oman Medical Bylaw.</p><p> </p><p>Interested candidates should apply with CV and letter of interest via the <strong>APPLY</strong> button.</p><p></p>
