Job Description:

  • Support the head of Planning & Control in financial related items.
  • Establishing procedures for recording all costs allocated to or borne by the contract.
  • Approve expenditure within authorized limits.
  • Procure items or issue requests to corporate department.
  • Validate and approve invoices.
  • Assist the head of Planning & Control in the management of Client expenditure.
  • Monitor expenditure against budget.
  • Develop costings and spreadsheets as directed.
  • Advise of any potential budget overrun.
  • Validate Service Provider (and other) invoices.
  • Develop financial models as requested.
  • Ensure all financial records are properly filed.
  • Ensure all invoices have required supporting documents.
  • Attend client and internal meetings.
  • Identify and manage risks.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related subject or otherwise extensive finance experience and demonstrated financial acumen.
  • Shipbuilding / Rig building / MRO/ Equivalent Industry experience is preferable.
  • Minimum of 3-9 years related experience
  • Strong organizational skills, interpersonal skills, and a positive attitude.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven skills related to the position.
