Specialist / Consultant Neurosurgeon

Job Description

We are looking for a Neurosurgeon to perform one surgery per week on patients of all ages at the hospital. The responsibilities include overseeing a team of surgeons and nurses to treat wounds and diseases and remove tumors and chronic pain.<p><br></p><strong><u>Responsibilities</u></strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Lead nurses and surgeons in the operation room.</li><li>Examine patients’ medical histories as well as the results of other doctors’ examinations.</li><li>Make diagnoses based on the outcomes of tests and examinations.</li><li>Discuss the benefits and dangers of various therapy choices with patients and their families.</li><li>Perform microsurgeries.</li><li>Order and interpret MRIs and scans.</li><li>Diagnose and prescribe treatments to patients.</li><li>Monitor the progress of patients and update their families.</li><li>Collaborate with other doctors and specialists when needed.</li><li>Stay up to date on any innovations and developments in the field.</li></ul><p><br></p><strong><u>Requirements</u></strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Doctor of Medicine degree</li><li>Certification to practice Neurosurgery</li><li>Experience in diagnosing patients</li><li>Deep knowledge of microsurgery techniques</li><li>Perfect hand-eye coordination and dexterity</li><li>Ability to work under pressure</li><li>Flexibility to work with a shifting schedule</li></ul>
