<strong>Description (External)</strong><p><br></p>A Spa Therapist is responsible for providing professional treatments and services for guests, including but not limited to body and facial treatments, massages, home care advice, and a tour of the facilities. Maintaining safety and cleanliness and ensuring guest satisfaction regarding all areas of Spa services in accordance with company standards.<p><br></p><strong>What will I be doing? </strong><p><br></p>As a Spa Therapist, you are responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:<p><br></p>The individual must possess the following<p><br></p>knowledge, skills, and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that he or she can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable adjustments.<p><br></p><ul><li>To report for duty punctually wearing the correct uniform and nametag and always following good hygiene habits. </li><li>To replenish all necessary items in the male/female spa promptly. </li><li>Perform professional services according to standards with attention to detail and in a prompt timely manner. </li><li>Advise guests of spa service programs, treatments, and products available at the spa. </li><li>Assist in promoting spa &amp; body care products to guests and offer full product knowledge. </li><li>To request, and collect stock and supplies in accordance with minimum stock levels. </li><li>Ensure all treatment rooms are fully set up before beginning treatment according to standards and procedures. </li><li>Communicate through appropriate guest cards any guest-related matters, products or equipment needs, technical service requests, etc. </li><li>Assist in keeping accurate written records of treatments and products used in view of repeat guests. </li></ul><p><br></p>Participate in ongoing training, with assistance from your designated trainer and continue to study your skill.<p><br></p><strong>QUALIFICATION STANDARDS</strong><p><br></p><strong>EDUCATION</strong><p><br></p>Higher Education<p><br></p><strong>Experience</strong><p><br></p>Minimum 2 years prior experience as a therapist in a 5-star hotel environment<p><br></p><strong>LICENSES OR CERTIFICATES </strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Qualification within the beauty or spa industry </li><li>Extensive knowledge of Anatomy and physiology </li><li>ITEC Qualified </li><li>CIBTAC Qualified </li><li>CIDESCO Qualified </li><li>Completed state-required therapy anatomy and physiology course or internationally recognized therapy qualification </li></ul><p><br></p><strong>GROOMING</strong><p><br></p>All Team Members must maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance. Specific uniform guidelines and/or required articles of clothing will be explained to you as a part of the orientation process.<p><br></p><strong>What are we looking for? </strong><p><br></p>A Massage Therapist serving Hilton Brand hotels and vacations is always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members.
