Position Title:              Sous Chef

Employment Type:      Full Time

Salary:                         up to 7K AED depending on experience and qualifications plus duty meal, transportation, and accommodation

About the Client:

An upscale 5 Star hotel based in Deira Dubai

 

Job Description:

  • Directing the food preparation process and delegating tasks to all kitchen staff subordinates while supervising all kitchen stations
  • Assisting the Head Chef to create menu items and recipes and developing dishes for the restaurants based on demand, season, and cuisine
  • Supervising, motivating, and working closely with other Chefs of all levels to ensure quality of work, accountability of every station assignment and health and safety for everyone, especially customers
  • Ensuring food quality and excellent standards are maintained for all dishes created while maintaining food hygiene practices
  • Assisting with determination of food inventory needs, stocking, and ordering

Skills

Qualifications:

  • Open to Asian nationals
  • 45 years old and below
  • At least 4 years of experience in related role(F&B / Hospitality groups / 5-star hotels)
  • Prior experience in upscale dining establishments, such as fine dining restaurants or luxury hotels rated at least 4-5 stars, is required
  • Immediate joiners or with maximum 1 month notice will be prioritized
