You will be leading the development of Dawarha’s Software and Algorithms behind the first ai-based RVM in Egypt and MENA. The ideal candidate is an experienced people-centric team player who is passionate about technology and committed to self-development, possessing the ability to apply their people skills, technical knowledge, technical skills, and experience to solve complex real-world problems.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Job Description</strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li>Supervise, Mentor, and Lead Agile Cross-functional SW Engineers.</li><li>Draft and prepare a technology roadmap and development plan.</li><li>Direct, coordinate, and lead SW production, operations, quality assurance, testing, and maintenance.</li><li>Oversee the research and development of new products and procedures.</li><li>Hire, onboard, and Train other SW engineers and supporting staff.</li><li>Write performance reviews and solve internal issues.</li><li>Discuss and lay-out project specifications.</li><li>Craft a detailed plan to accomplish tactical and strategic goals.</li><li>Review, approve, and modify product software and product designs.</li><li>Analyze, propose, and manage budgets, technologies, and resources for SW products and projects.</li><li>Draft proposals, presentations, and reports for internal and external stakeholders.</li><li>Prepare and deliver feature, technology, and talent pipeline.</li><li>Establish administrative policies, procedures, and standards.</li><li>Coordinate activities of the unit with other units or organizations, including but not limited to the product team, data team, hardware team, P&amp;C team, operations team, …, etc. </li><li>Translate business requirements into technical needs and actions.</li><li>Confer with higher levels of management.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Job Requirements and Technical Skills</strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li>Candidates with bachelor’s degree in computer science are welcome to apply, provided they have strong technical knowledge and experience in Computer Science. MSc or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Computer Vision, or any related fields are preferred.</li><li>2-5 years of experience in leading and growing SW engineering teams.</li><li>Familiar with machine/deep learning frameworks like Tensorflow, Keras, and PyTorch.</li><li>Ability to transform research articles into working solutions to solve real-world problems.</li><li>Proficiency in Python and related packages like NumPy, scikit-image, PIL, OpenCV, matplotlib, seaborn, etc.</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effectively communicating with the team and ability to present information to a varied technical and non-technical audience.</li><li>Must be able to produce solutions independently in an organized manner and also be able to work in a team when required.</li><li>Must have good Object-Oriented Programing &amp; logical analysis skills in Python and JavaScript</li><li>Strong foundation in data structures and algorithms in Python and JS</li><li>Advanced knowledge in performance, scalability, numerical accuracy, and best practices for implementing various solutions.</li><li>Experience in different model optimization techniques apart from hyperparameter tuning to reduce memory usage without hindering the performance for deploying on edge devices.</li><li>Exposure to IoT technology.</li><li>Experience in Agile Application Development and Scrum methodologies to develop efficient, maintainable, readable, and production-ready pipelines.</li><li>Must have curiosity, eagerness, and motivation to learn new and adapt to new technologies.</li><li>Knowledge of best practices related to data encryption and cybersecurity.</li><li>Proficiency in documenting processes and monitoring performance metrics</li></ul><li></li>
