You will oversee the development and delivery of high-quality software solutions while ensuring efficient and effective project management. Your role will focus on managing and developing the engineering team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture, and ensuring alignment with the company’s goals and objectives.</span></p><p><br></p><p><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></p><p><br></p><p><strong>Strategic Responsibilities</strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li><span>Collaborate with the product team to define the technical roadmap and align it with the company’s strategic goals.</span></li><li><span>Coordinate and prioritize development efforts, ensuring resources are allocated appropriately to meet project timelines and deliverables.</span></li><li><span>Monitor project progress, identify potential risks and obstacles, and implement effective mitigation strategies.</span></li><li><span>Oversee the implementation of software development methodologies and best practices to optimize productivity and quality</span></li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Stakeholder Management</strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li><span>Establish and maintain effective communication channels with stakeholders, ensuring alignment on project objectives, timelines, and deliverables.</span></li><li><span>Proactively manage stakeholder expectations, providing regular updates on project status, risks, and mitigation plans.</span></li><li><span>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address technical challenges, ensuring smooth collaboration and efficient delivery.</span></li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>People Responsibilities</strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li><span>Provide leadership and guidance to the Engineering team, fostering a positive and inclusive work culture. Set clear expectations, communicate goals, and motivate team members to achieve high performance and professional growth.</span></li><li><span>Collaborate with HR and talent acquisition teams to attract and hire top engineering talent</span></li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS:</strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li><span>Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as Engineering, computer science, or equivalent</span></li><li><span>Proven experience at least 3 years in a software engineering management role, preferably in the fintech industry or a related field</span></li><li><span>Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.</span></li><li><span>Excellent project management abilities, including planning, organizing, and monitoring project progress.</span></li><li><span>Deep understanding of software development methodologies, processes, and best practices.</span></li><li><span>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders</span></li><li><span>Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools.</span></li><li><span>Knowledge of fintech industry is a plus</span></li></ul><p><br></p>
