Job Description
To be responsible for overseeing and managing both the operational and strategic aspects of all the soft services to ensure the efficient and effective functioning of the Project facility management services.<p><br></p><strong>Work location: </strong>Ras Laffan Industrial City (RLIC) β Site Office<p><br></p><strong>Work conditions: </strong>Accommodation at the site, one day off a week, 15 days off after 6 months Service, 2 Round trip Tickets to home country per year.<p><br></p><strong>Major responsibilities of the Soft Services Manager are to:</strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Oversee the planning, execution, and maintenance of soft services, including but not limited to:</li><li>Administration services (Camp reception, Janitorial and room occupation management). </li><li>Keeping records of Accommodation cabin occupancy/vacancy status and camp occupancy records. </li><li>Soft services facilities required for welfare management (recreation facilities and events). </li><li>Drinking Water supply services (Water fountain connected to the camp potable water network). </li><li>All Project Camps and all Facilities Cleaning services. </li><li>All Housekeeping services including Dormitory rooms mattresses. </li><li>Laundry services. </li><li>Minimarket & Banking services. </li><li>Barber/Hairdresser shop. </li><li>Key/card shop services. </li><li>Filing station. </li><li>Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize equipment downtime and maximize efficiency. </li><li>Coordinate with internal and external technical teams to ensure timely and effective resolution of maintenance issues. </li><li>Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements, industry standards, codes, and best practices. </li><li>Manage and monitor energy management systems and sustainability initiatives. </li><li>Develop and manage budgets for all the soft services, ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to financial targets. </li><li>Conduct regular financial analysis, review expenses, and identify opportunities for cost optimization, including Preparation of financial reports and present them to the management. </li><li>Implement and enforce health, safety, and environmental protocols and procedures. </li><li>Respect and follow up QHSE policies & must rules of both the clients and Newrest Gulf. </li><li>Stop working in unsafe conditions. </li><li>Report any incident, accident & unsafe act to the management. </li><li>Conduct regular inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with regulations. </li><li>Coordinate with relevant authorities such as municipality and Civil defence for necessary permits and licenses and certifications. </li><li>Develop and implement emergency response plans and ensure their effective communication and implementation. </li><li>Act as a primary point of contact for facility-related inquiries, requests, and issue resolution. </li><li>Establish and maintain positive relationships with external service providers, subcontractors, and suppliers. </li><li>Bachelor’s degree in facility management, engineering or a related field/equivalent degree. </li><li>Proven experience in facility management, specifically in managing soft services. </li><li>Strong knowledge of facility operations, all kind of facility maintenance, and safety regulations. </li><li>Familiarity with building systems, roads, civil works, technical drawings, equipment, and maintenance practices. </li><li>Excellent leadership and management skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team. </li><li>Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. </li><li>Effective communication and interpersonal skills. </li><li> Fluency in English is a must (both written and spoken), Hindi and French are plus.</li></ul>
