ROLE: Social Media Manager
ROLE DEFINITION:
Social Media Manager is in charge of creating a strategy to increase the visibility and to have an engagement action plan between the hotels social media accounts and the users. Also creating a global strategy for the central accounts.
We are looking for a creative, energetic, and performance oriented candidate who is interested to learn and grow within the digital department.
Responsibilities:
– -Supervising the overall mentions over social media platforms not limited to Facebook and Instagram, and engage with the social media users.
– Manage the organisation’s online presence by developing a strategy, producing good content, analysing usage data, facilitating customer service and managing projects.
– Building a social media presence by maintaining a solid online presence.
– Support in building a strong content calendar for the year with all festivities, important national and international days, property based events and a regular calendar and monitor the deployment of content accordingly, with the properties and for the central accounts.
– Research and evaluate the latest trends and techniques in order to find new and better ways of measuring social media activity.
– Regular knowledge transfers with the best practices and key metrics to the hotel teams.
– Liaise with the content team to create or provide the content as per the schedule of the posts created in line with the property standards.
– Monitor, track, analyse and report on performance on social media platforms using listening and monitoring tools.
– Producing a consistent brand message across all the social media channels.
– Regular monitoring the competitor social media sites and creating analysis report.
– Working with the marketing managers to develop social media timelines that coincide with special offers, seasonal offers and regular marketing timeline.
– Constantly look out for new user generated content to be used in reposting on social media platforms and which can be used in regular marketing activities and collaterals.
– Achieve the KPIs on the number of followers and engagement stats for the social media platforms.
