Job Description

We are looking for a high-performing and initiative-taking team member who will provide day-to-day client project support through overseeing and preparing deliverables in areas such as social media platforms management, material drafting (i.e. updates, contests, briefing notes, social media memos/ proposals and status reports and responses to clients/fans).<br>In addition, a social media account manager will be required to demonstrate strategic abilities, and have strong written and oral communication skills. The candidate would need to be completely fluent in Arabic and English (writing and speaking) and have at least three years of relevant social media/ digital communications experience with emphasis on financial industry, government services and corporate/ consumer brands.<br><br>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:<br>- Develop and maintain a comprehensive social media strategy that defines how social media marketing techniques will be applied to increase visibility and traffic across all brands and products.<br>- Define key performance indicators and implement enterprise level measurement, analytics, and reporting methods to gauge success.<br>- Serve as day–to–day client contact.<br>- Support other team members as necessary in order to complete client projects.<br>- Participate in client planning meetings, brainstorming sessions, strategic planning sessions and develop communications plans for clients.<br>- Monitor media, social media platforms and create status reports.<br>- Produce drafts of written materials, such as proposals, online media scan reports, summaries, live updates at events, presentations and other client materials.<br>- Coordinate and execute meeting logistics and events.<br>- Identify new business opportunities.<br>- Meet project deadlines as assigned.<br>- Other responsibilities as assigned.<br>QUALIFICATIONS:<br>Education: University Degree in Marketing or Equivalent<br>Experience: At least 3 years of relevant experience in social media/ digital communications. Experience in financial industry is a plus.<br><br>COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:<br>- Strong local culture and MENA background and/or understanding.<br>- Good team player, research and organizational skills a definite must.<br>- Excellent communication &amp; writing skills.<br>- Fluency in Arabic and English (speaking and writing).<br>- Understanding of new digital communications tools and concepts<br>- Initiative and enthusiasm.<br>TECHNICAL ADDENDUM:<br>- Experience using:<br>- Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook 2007 or 2010<br>- Knowledge of web usability best practices, website navigation design and flow, content classification, and content management methods and systems<br>- Experience using Social Media Monitoring, Listening &amp; Management tools.<br>- Experience in drafting compelling Social Media posts and content.<br>WORK CONDITIONS<br>- Must reside in Abu Dhabi or be willing to relocate.<br>- Willing to work additional or irregular working hours as needed and allowed by local regulations.
