Small animal veterinarian

Job Description

– Diagnose and treat illnesses and injuries in small animals

– Perform surgical procedures, including orthopedics, soft tissue, and dental surgery

– Provide preventative care, including vaccinations and parasite control

– Communicate with clients about their pets’ health and well-being, and educate them on how to provide the best possible care for their pets

– Maintain accurate medical records

– Work collaboratively with other members of the veterinary team

Skills

Requirements:

– DVM or VMD degree from an accredited veterinary school

– 2-3 years of experience working as a small animal veterinarian

– Strong surgical skills, including experience with orthopedics, soft tissue, and dental surgery

– Excellent communication skills, both with clients and other members of the veterinary team

– Ability to work well in a team environment

– Commitment to providing high-quality medical care to animals
