<strong>Closing date: 06 August 2023 </strong><p><br></p>The Static Operations Manager (OM) is responsible for the management of all static guard and the implementation of all security SOPs pertaining to static operations. Oversees all security provisions and requirements in support of Company and<p><br></p>Company employees and operations are met on a daily and as-required basis. Ensures static operations are conducted in accordance with Iraqi government, client and CR directives and procedures.<p><br></p>Tasks and responsibilities<p><br></p><strong><u>Departmental Responsibilities</u></strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Reports directly to the CR ROO Project Security Manager (PSM), with a functional line for day to day operations to the Client Security Manager (ROOHQSM).</li><li>Oversees and coaches the Guard Commander (GC) in the performance of his duties, especially relating to daily static guarding tasking coordination.</li><li>Ensures that operational situational awareness is maintained at all times through effective operations room procedures.</li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Personnel Management </strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Ensures all security rotation planning, general leave, sick/compassionate leave and administration arrangements are coordinated to best ensure contractual compliance.</li><li>Ensures all training and personnel records are maintained for static guard personnel.</li><li>Ensures any projected or actual manpower deficiencies are reported to the CR ROO.</li><li>PSM ASAP and coordinates temporary or permanent replacements as required.</li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Policy and Procedure</strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Oversees access control as per ROO Security Access Policy.</li><li>Works with the Company Security Manager and PSM to implement security plans on behalf of the ROO.</li><li>Ensures all incidents and near miss incidents are recorded and reported in accordance with client and CR-internal procedures.</li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Quality Management</strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Oversees Quality Assurance (QA) to ensure static security operations both comply with contractual requirements and continue to meet best practice. </li></ul><p><br></p>Knowledge and Experience<p><br></p><strong><u>Essential</u></strong><p><br></p><ul><li>6 years cumulative military/police service or equivalent commercial security and risk management experience.</li><li>2 years previous experience of working in Iraq for a MOI registered PSC.</li><li>Demonstrated competence over a minimum of 1 year in a previous PSC operations management role.</li><li>Attended and passed an internationally regarded military Non-Commissioned Officer or similar organizational command and leadership course, such as the British Army Platoon Sergeants Battle Course (or higher).</li></ul><p><br></p><strong><u>Preferred</u></strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Operational APT experience in Iraq or similar environment</li><li>Security and Risk Management qualification </li><li>Knowledge of and exposure to oil and gas sector </li></ul><p><br></p><strong><u>Requirements</u></strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Native English Speaker. </li><li>SIA license. </li><li>HSE certificate (IOSH).</li><li>They must possess tact, judgment and the ability to communicate well, both verbally and written, in the English language.</li><li>They must possess the necessary skill set and attitude to manage a mixed expatriate and local national guard force. </li></ul><p><br></p><strong><u>Benefits</u></strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Control Risks offers a competitively positioned compensation and benefits package that is transparent and summarised in the full job offer.</li><li>Life insurance cover</li><li>Personal Accident insurance</li><li>As an equal opportunities employer, we encourage suitably qualified applicants from a wide range of backgrounds to apply and join us and are fully committed to equal treatment, free from discrimination, of all candidates throughout our recruitment process.</li></ul>
