Job Overview:

We are seeking a Site Inspector to oversee the inspection of construction sites and ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards. The Site Inspector will be responsible for conducting inspections, preparing reports on inspection findings, and working closely with project managers and contractors to ensure timely completion of projects.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct inspections of construction sites to ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards
• Prepare reports on inspection findings and provide recommendations for corrective action when necessary
• Review and approve shop drawings and submittals related to construction work
• Attend meetings with project teams to provide updates on inspection progress and discuss any issues or concerns
• Provide technical expertise on construction work and serve as a resource for project teams and other inspectors
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures during all inspections
• Maintain accurate records of all inspections and prepare reports as required
• Work closely with project managers and contractors to ensure timely completion of projects
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• 7+ years of experience in site inspection, preferably in a construction or engineering environment
• Knowledge of construction codes and standards
• Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and other technical documents
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and document deficiencies
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Fluency in English, both written and verbal
