Job Description
<strong>Overview</strong><p><br></p>The raw sugar silo Operator is responsible for all aspects of loading, moving, and handling products within an industrial silo facility.<p><br></p><strong>Essential Duties & Responsibilities</strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Complete shipping manifest with all pertinent information about the vessel cargo(amounts being transported, batch number,location in the silo)</li><li>Learn, follow and promote all safety regulations of the Durrah compliance</li><li>Communicate clearly, listen and understand information through spoken words and sentences to ensure full comprehension of job duties, safety regulations and other situations that may require an immediate response</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor or upper management</li><li>Provide a continuous feed to the refinery in accordance with production department team</li><li>Apply and note the batches of sugar supplied to the refinery in accordance with the batches in stock and accordingly to the plant compliance</li><li>Demonstrate informative and professional assistance when working with managers or co-workers</li><li>Acts independently and originates new procedures and new approaches to repetitive problems</li><li>Display excellent verbal and written communication skills</li><li>Maintain initiative to preserve the flow of work</li><li>Work under stress and with commitment to deadlines</li><li>Sustain interpersonal relationships which encourage openness, candor and trust, both internally and outside of Durrah</li><li>Complete reports in accurate and timely manner</li><li>Maintain Company information in a confidential manner</li><li>Wear Company provided PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) at all times</li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Requirements</strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English</li><li>Basic mechanic and electricity skills</li><li>Minimum 2 years’ experience as Silo Operator</li></ul>
