<p><strong>JOB PURPOSE:<br></strong>To maintain Signaling system.<br>To ensure the availability and condition to a standard that will ensure maximum operational efficiency and maintainstandards of product quality and service.<br>To plan and supervise maintenance in-house activities in line with RDMC standards and procedures to guarantee that allassigned assets/systems are safe to operate and reliable.<br><br></p><p><br><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:<br></strong>• To prepare maintenance schedules and plan resources (staff and spare parts/consumables)<br>• To manage and assign preventive and corrective maintenance tasks to his team on a daily basis<br>• To conduct inspections related to his team activities with a focus on work quality, efficiency and reporting (how workorders are being populated and closed by contractors)<br>• To check the work performed and provide support to his team whenever required<br>• To control that his staff remains competent (authorized personnel)<br>• To monitor stock levels and tools calibration and take appropriate action whenever required<br>• To ensure that all environmental and safety rules are adhered to and take appropriate actions, while informing hismanager, in case of any environmental or safety issue.<br>• To report all inspections and controls duly and thoroughly on the relevant checklists<br>• To participate and be a valuable member of the technical investigation team whenever requested by maintenancemanagement.<br>• To provide any required inputs to the budget for his scope and adhere to it<br>• To undertake any other duties as assigned.<br><br></p><p><br><strong>ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE &amp; EXPERIENCE<br>QUALIFICATIONS:<br></strong>• Electronics Engineer<br><br></p><p><br><strong>KNOWLEDGE:<br></strong>• General technical knowledge<br>• Team Management<br>• Railway knowledge (Optional)<br>• EAM such Maximo<br><br></p><p><br><strong>EXPERIENCE:<br></strong>• At least 10 years’ relevant experience in Railway industry.<br><br></p><p><br><strong>DESIRED BEHAVIORS:<br></strong>• Signaling expert<br>• Possess analytical and critical ability<br>• Ability to communicate with staff of all levels<br>• Ability to supervise and control<br>• Problem solving ability<br>• Possess self-drive and enthusiasm<br>• Excellent report writing skills<br><br></p>
