<ul><li>Looking to relocate?</li><li>Experienced in manufacturing process</li><li>Multi-material knowledge and understanding</li></ul><p><br></p><p>The Company</p><p><br></p><p>Our Client has 25+ years’ experience and has evolved into one of the leading interior fit-out contractors and manufacturers of high quality bespoke furniture and shop-fitting with an unrivalled reputation for innovation and excellence.</p><p><br></p><p>Role Summary</p><p><br></p><p>The person will be responsible for coordinating and managing External and Internal Clients and Setting out team to ensure the smooth flow of the project manufacturing process and ultimately, client satisfaction balanced with quality and cost performance.</p><p><br></p><p>Support divisional performance to continuously enhance our service to our clients and support efficiency improvement to maintain competitiveness and increase business activity. Support the functional head in planning out activities, prioritizing deliveries in line with the strategic plan, and overseeing day to day management and planning of setting out resources and processes to attend to commitments to achieve continuous improvement in process efficiency.</p><p><br></p><p>Client communication, as well as internal communications with</p><p>other concerned functional areas also with the intention to collaborate, coordinate information and needs of running projects.</p><p><br></p><p>Role Description</p><ul><li>Manage and oversee the effective management of assigned projects</li><li>Review project details and guide and steer the setting out team processes of material submissions,</li><li>procurement, shop drawings development, prototyping, manufacturing delivery etc</li><li>Reviewing, overseeing the Project program and schedules, and managing client expectations</li><li>Review and management of the Shop drawings preparation and submittal process</li><li>Lead and manage coordination with the production departments. Checking materials allowed details</li><li>and oversee clearance for variations internally and with clients</li><li>Review specifications of the project and obtain clearance for discrepancies between specs and</li><li>estimated details. Overseeing identification of project material requirements</li><li>To oversee and manage material procurement and planning so that all materials arrive before production</li><li>is commenced:</li><li>Identification of RFI’s and managing the process with clients</li><li>Overseeing the sourcing of hardware accessories and optimizing where possible</li><li>Overseeing the timely project drawings approval process</li><li>Providing guidance and managing the issuance to factory of cutting lists, loading lines</li><li>Coordination with site team and setting out for getting timely site surveys or arranging alternative</li><li>options for issuing the job if site surveys not possible such as over-sizing and following an agreed setting</li><li>out plan (usually the case on fast-track projects)</li><li>Interpreting contractual works requirements and obligations</li><li>Overseeing follow up of project-related procurement#</li><li>Preparation of Projects Status report</li><li>Forward planning schedules and forecasts for cutting lists issuance to manufacturing</li></ul><p><br></p><p>Candidate Requirements</p><ul><li>Minimum of ten years similar experience in a manufacturing setup</li><li>Track record and experience in all aspects of joinery setting out from site survey, preparing</li><li>manufacturing shop drawings, and cutting lists, through to material take off and ordering, preparation</li><li>of site working drawings and loading lines</li><li>Sound knowledge of manufacturing procedures and common joinery materials including timber, boards,</li><li>veneers, laminates, and hardware are vital</li><li>Very strong technical and execution capabilities with the ability to solve/provide guidance on technical</li><li>issues, details, and materials integration such as glass, acrylics, stone, metals, fabrics etc</li><li>Well versed in Autodesk Products and Microsoft Office applications</li><li>Familiar with FSC, Leed requirements, FR standards etc</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work successfully in a multinational</li><li>environment</li><li>Good organizational skills, dynamic personality to manage a fast-moving environment</li><li>Team player, good team mentor and organizational skills</li><li>The candidate should have experience in managing a team of 15 to 20 member</li></ul>
