Job Title<p><br></p>Service Sorter Technician<p><br></p><strong><u>Job Description</u></strong><p><br></p><strong>Qualification and abilities </strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Middle level of technical education</li><li>Mechanical experience</li><li>Perform preventive and corrective maintenance tasks for electrical and mechanical components</li><li>Ability to work under stress situations.</li><li>Read and write the English language.</li><li>Flexibility to take-over the work to the next shift team.</li><li>Controlling baggage flows and correcting flow disturbances.</li><li>Quick respond to failures.</li><li>Electro-mechanical fault finding and repairs.</li><li>Metrics – signal measurement knowledge and el. Wiring</li><li>Reading PLC and SCADA, not programming</li><li>Ability to be trained in PLC knowledge Basic PLC (S&amp;7) training in hard- and software, troubleshooting and exchanging hardware.</li><li>Ability to be trained in appropriate contractor training electrical and mechanical (OEM approved)</li></ul><p><br></p><strong><u>Responsibilities</u></strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Solve errors on electrical and mechanical field in automated handling systems.</li><li>Carry out electrical-mechanical corrective and preventive maintenance</li><li>Maintenance (electrical and mechanical) activities on site as scoped on service contract</li><li>Direct communication point between the teams and office personnel and contact point for customer outside office hours.</li><li>Maintenance (electrical and mechanical) activities on site as scoped on service contract</li><li>Foreman for the team and automated handling system specialist.</li><li>Direct communication point between the teams and office personnel and contact point for customer outside office hours.</li></ul>
