Service Manager | Al Futtaim Automotive | Omasco – Honda

Overview of the role:

  • The primary focus of the role is to monitor and achieve budgeted sales, gross margin and net profit by implementing standard operating procedures and effective usage of resources. 

 

What you will do:

  • Maintenance and upkeep of the workshop equipment’s to maximize utilization and minimize downtime. Initiate procurement of additional equipment’s in line with business growth and ensure customer satisfaction targets are achieved by implementing best business practices.
  • Maximize the revenue potential from Service operations to meet the Net Sales, Gross margin, and net profit objectives.
  • Provide positive customer experience and achieve customer satisfaction targets through efficient service process.
  • Monitor and coordinate the planned individual staff career development plans are achieved through training and ensure high motivation levels.
  • Achieve the company objective on Omanisation, coaching, training and provide a career path 
  • Implement the Principals Dealer standards on Systems and processes for achieving compliance and adopting best business practices. 
  • Plan and deliver optimal utilization of the manpower resources to meet or exceed Service performance KPI benchmarks on productivity, efficiency, turnaround time, revenue per order through process and people development.
  • Effectively monitor and follow up credit outstanding as well maintain cordial relationship with Creditors to achieve nil overdue more than 60 days and review credit limits in line with business. 
  • Adhere to product concern handling and escalation process to achieve timely resolution and customer satisfaction and ensure staff are technically updated of the developments. 
  • Ensure QHSE management system requirements and SOPs (standard operating procedures) are implemented in area of responsibility.
  • Ensure customer/associate engagement is enhanced and ensure customer complaints are resolved through taking necessary actions.

Skills

Required Skills to be Successful:

1.- Knowledge of service management operation.

2.- Supervisory experience.

3.- Workshop automotive dealership experience. 

4.- Analytical skills.

 

What equips you for the role:

  • Diploma or Bachelor of Automobile /Mechanical Engineering.
  • 5 to 8 years overall experience with the automotive dealership – out of which a minimum 3 years in Service Department at managerial role.
  • Valid Oman driver’s license.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP skills.
  • Proficient in English.
