Edelman Global Advisory is a newly launched standalone international advisory firm within the Edelman network that owns the firm’s public affairs work. We have rebranded public affairs to advisory to better capture the evolution and future of this sector. Advisory services combine business strategy, government affairs, corporate social responsibility and sustainability, and political risk analysis to help clients navigate changing political dynamics. Joining the EGA team will provide team members with the opportunity to be involved in the building of this new firm from creating a new culture, to redefining public affairs services, to exploring new services, such as data analytics and political risk analysis. Position Overview:
This position will work on-the-ground at our client’s headquarters in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
While on-site, the secondee will be embedded at the client office and directly interfacing with clients to plan, strategize and execute global communications plans and campaigns in partnership with Edelman’s four regional teams in the Americas (DC), Europe (London), Asia (Singapore) and China (Shanghai).
In addition to managing the coordination of global communications among the regions, the secondee will also manage special comms and media projects such as global executive positioning, thought leadership campaigns, sustainability communications, crisis communications and more.
The secondee will be directly responsible for client management and communications with the senior client (Senior Director of Global Communications) and day-to-day client (Head of Global Media Relations), as well as other stakeholders within the communications organization.
This role will report into the Chairman of International Public Affairs, the GCRM of the client.

Work Scope and Reporting Lines:
- Manage client deliverables from planning to execution, leveraging Edelman global team.
- Attend strategy and planning sessions with our clients stakeholders and business partners to receive briefing on communications project needs.
- Provide real time counsel on communications strategies to various clients business partners and stakeholders.
- Manage global communications and media relations projects involving clients four main regions.
- Lead on special projects for the client, including the clients ‘Future Proof’ thought leadership platform, sustainability/ESG communications, executive communications/positioning campaign, and more.
- Manage account admin including budgeting, invoicing, reporting, etc.
- Plan and manage on-the-ground support at high profile client events, including industry events, internal events, etc.
- Manage and lead corporate earnings/reporting each quarter with media materials and communications prep for executive
- Coordinate and manage team staffing globally and regionally to accommodate needs of client
- Pursue new biz/incremental projects for the client to address additional communications and media needs
