NARD Intelligence Professional Services provides technical consulting and implementation expertise to its customers across Europe and North America. In the role of Technology Consultant you will be responsible for providing technology consulting to external customers. You will be focusing on providing technical support in the creation and delivery of ITIL compliant technology solutions designed to meet customers’ unique business needs. As a trusted advisor you need to be able to create and maintain effective customer relationships resulting in a high level of customer satisfaction. Maintaining knowledge of leading edge software technologies and industry domain knowledge is key.

Mission :

  • Participate on project teams that define, design, and develop solutions on the ServiceNow platform based on requirements gathered from the client.
  • Configure and code solutions for clients based on agreed technical designs, working with project/technical managers and customer representatives.
  • Prepare Requirement, Design, or Test Plan documents as part of the project.
  • Help define and estimate sprints for Agile projects.
  • Oversee the business process assessment, target state design, and road map activities.
  • Provide hands-on expertise on specific integration activities as part of an engagement.
  • General support, administration, and maintenance of ServiceNow platform and associated applications.
  • Communicate across the client community and demonstrate execution of Nard Intelligence strategy.
  • Monitor health, usage, and overall compliance of ServiceNow and its applications.
  • Support migration of packages to test environment and support UAT.
  • Support migration to production environment.
  • Conduct training and knowledge transfer.
  • Develop training and knowledge transfer documentation.

Profile :

  • Masters or Bachelors Degree (or equivalent) in Software Engineering or related IT discipline
  • 2-6 years of experience in a similar role
  • Excellent communication skills in English and French, both written and verbal
  • Customer-focused attitude and ability to work as part of a global team
  • Strong team skills and “achieve together” mindset
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in system administration of Unix or Windows systems
  • Understanding web service connections and packet delivery protocols including HTTP, TCP, JDBC, ODBC, SNMP, SOAP, and REST
  • Ability to write complex SQL statements and code in JavaScript
  • Competence in Relational Databases, e.g. SQL-Language, MS-SQL or Oracle Administration
  • Good understanding of: web-servers, application servers, networking, firewalls, load balancing
  • Ability to script, parse and interpret files/scripts using XML, JSON, RegEx, and delimiters.
  • Knowledge of Web and Application Servers, Load Balancers, Databases, and Virtualization (WebSphere, MQ, IIS, Apache, VMware)
  • Experience with common web technologies (e.g. JavaScript, XML, HTML5, Jelly, jQuery and AngularJS, CSS, HTTP, etc.)
  • Competence in scripting, Unix Shell-Scripting or VBscript on Windows
  • Experience with ServiceNow or with similar products in the market like HP SM, Remedy/ARS or IBM Tivoli will be considered advantageous
  • Passion for software and technology is a must!

Will Be Considered As a Plus :

  • Good understanding of the IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Standard
  • ServiceNow System Administrator Certification (or ability to achieve within 6 months of hire)
  • ServiceNow System Developer Certification (or ability to achieve within 6 months of hire)
