A highly organized, creative, passionate and tech savvy Talent Acquisition Partner to join our Vice Jax Media team. You will work closely with leaders across various functions within the Jax Media LOB, to advise them on their talent attraction strategy and be responsible to innovatively craft outreach approaches to source candidates to cultivate a best-in-class team / talent pool for Vice Jax media.<p><br></p>You will be the chief orchestrator to ideate and bring to life a creative, unique and out of this world recruitment methods and experience for both external candidates and internal stakeholders – there are really no limits to your creativity!! Your superior ninja skills will be required to source candidates predominately across KSA, with a slight spill over into UAE.<p><br></p><strong>VICE Jax</strong> is a joint venture between VICE and a large Middle East media partner. VICE Jax’s primary directive is to create a leading platform for quality digital Arabic content centered on modern Arab youth culture anchored in Saudi Arabia. The expectation of this role and others connected with VICE Jax is that you will work on VICE JAX project as well as other VICE Media lines of business including VICE and Virtue (VICE’s creative agency) projects throughout the Middle East and Africa.<p><br></p><strong>ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong><p><br></p>The successful candidate will bring deep functional TA expertise and will drive to innovate and deliver results. Specifically:<p><br></p><ul><li>Act as a single point of contact for the employees and managers in the client group for all recruitment needs.</li><li>Own the recruiting cycle from end to end for Jax Media.</li><li>Continuously seek for and drive improvement in the recruitment process and leverage on technology to enhance the recruitment experience.</li><li>Collaborate and work with hiring managers to provide guidance and expertise to hire the best talent who are culturally aligned (with our core values) for our team.</li><li>Utilize recruiting tools and any other feasible innovative methodology to get the job done better, faster, and more efficiently than ever before.</li><li>Deliver against set metrics to provide consistent results and data-backed progress – i.e., reduce turnaround for placement of roles.</li><li>Elevate the candidates’ and stakeholders’ experience by adopting our “customer centric” approach to things.</li><li>Be a driver for idea generation to innovate and break away from conventional recruitment methodology / approaches.</li><li>In close partnership with the wider HR team of Vice Media Group.</li></ul><p><br></p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS:</strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Robust knowledge of MEA employment laws with a minimum of 5 years hands-on experience (in-house) in recruitment for creative agency, digital, production, editorial roles. Experience recruiting up to mid-level leadership roles is an added advantage.</li><li>Exceptional interpersonal and cross-cultural communication skills (verbal & written).</li><li>Resourceful and have a competitive edge to market awareness and hiring trends.</li><li>Strong understanding of MEA talent pools, competency models, recruiting fundamentals, and trending recruitment platforms (online/social media).</li><li>A go-getter and passionate about our content and the VICE way of getting things done.</li><li>Exudes positivity, initiative, proactiveness and thrives in a fast paced and ambiguous environment.</li><li>Tech savvy and experienced with various recruitment tools, applicant tracking systems and passive candidate sourcing.</li><li> Demonstrated ability in effectively hiring and motivating talent.</li><li> Proven track record in managing multiple roles under tight deadlines and within budget.</li><li> Solid network of talent in the creative/media/production and digital industry across the Middle East, specifically in UAE and KSA.</li><li>Analytical and creative; capable of flexing solutions to changing demands.</li><li>Commitment to the highest standards of excellence and personal integrity.</li></ul><p><br></p><strong>LOCATION:</strong><p><br></p><ul><li> Temporary location for this role can be between UAE and KSA but the candidate will eventually be expected to be located in Riyadh where VICE’s Arabia HQ will be located.</li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Working at VICE:</strong><p><br></p>We want to find people who believe in our mission and goals and feel inspired to grow while they’re here, rather than someone who checks the boxes but isn’t invested.
