Senior Storage Engineer

Job Description

<p><strong>Job Responsibilities:</strong></p><p>1. Responsible for the daily construction, optimization, and maintenance of systems related to the storage system platform in the department.</p><p>2. Responsible for the emergency plan, major change plan, major event guarantee plan, and inspection plan for typical failure scenarios, and implement them effectively according to the plan.</p><p>3. Be able to deal with technical problems of basic products, lead the analysis of problem demarcation and positioning, formulate solution plans and solutions with manufacturers, and track problem solving.</p><p>4. Cooperate with the application team, virtualization team, and database team to complete system integration design, problem locating, and configuration tasks.</p><p>4. Have good sense of teamwork and communication skills, and have a strong sense of responsibility.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><strong>Skill Requirements:</strong></p><p>1. As a storage administrator, have 5 to 10 years of working experience and be familiar with design, implementation, O&amp;M, and problem locating experience.</p><p>2. Be familiar with mainstream storage products in the industry, such as other main vendor products and Huawei storage. Be able to perform O&amp;M skillfully. Be familiar with the management tools of the corresponding storage.</p><p>3. Have a basic command of the architecture of the storage backup system. Have general knowledge of mainstream backup systems in the industry, such as Networker, CommVault, and Veeeam.</p><p>4. Have a basic command of mainstream Linux operating systems (such as SLES, Red Hat, and CentOS).</p><p>5. Be familiar with mainstream virtualization systems in the industry, such as VMWare, and IBM AIX Servers.</p><p>6. Huawei HCIP-Storage certificate is preferred.</p><p></p>
