<strong>Summary</strong><p><br></p>Responsible for initiation and project development of the new Hydrogen projects, report project’s progress to Management, ensure sector planning is aligned with agreed strategic, financial and operational targets, monitor sector performance against these targets and support performance management within the sector to ensure the Hydrogen projects are moving toward successful completion. The position will be to lead the development of a project under a program manager or support in the development of a larger project lead by a project manager.<p><br></p><strong>Key Accountabilities And Responsibilities</strong><p><br></p><strong> Project Planning and Initiation </strong><p><br></p><ul><li> Support in the development of Hydrogen project and work stream plans, ensuring that all activities are identified, appropriately organized, and resourced to deliver Hydrogen project objectives, and comply with the Hydrogen and Green Fuel project management framework. </li><li> Develop the project charter, concept design and the asset briefs. </li></ul><p><br></p><strong> Project management </strong><p><br></p><ul><li> Monitor and assess implementation progress of Hydrogen projects, identify barriers and constraints, and work collaboratively with teams to devise solutions. </li><li> Preparation and updating of project status reports, presentations, agendas etc. in a timely manner and ensure the proper archiving and documentation of project documents. </li><li> Support the efficient allocation of accountabilities and responsibilities at project level to ensure delivery of the agreed targets. </li><li> Work with other team members and stakeholders to schedule and plan meetings for project planning and status updates throughout the course of a project, in addition to help with planning meeting content and presentations. </li><li> Monitor the projects executed by contractors and ensure their obligation with the project scope and timeframe in line with the broad Hydrogen and Green Fuels BU strategy </li></ul><p><br></p><strong> Project Risk </strong><p><br></p><ul><li> Support in identify project risks and lead the cost and schedule contingency management process for assigned projects. </li><li> Identify and monitor project implementation risks and roadblocks for the projects (i.e. asset failure, or compliance with regulations) and modify it to address gaps </li></ul><p><br></p><strong> Project Reporting </strong><p><br></p><ul><li> Provide management with projects progress reporting including schedule updates, forecast to complete, variance identification and opportunities for improvement. </li><li> Handle the flow of information and communications including project reporting, communications materials, and success stories, monitoring and evaluation, and budget execution. </li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Background, Skills & Qualifications</strong><p><br></p><ul><li> Minimum of 6 years of work experience in project management </li><li> Relevant experience in project management (e.g., as a developer, Consulting, Contracting or Industry roles) </li><li> Knowledge of project management processes, standards, techniques and tools </li><li> Strong organization, prioritization and time management skills to monitor and handle multiple projects at the same, balance key priorities and meet challenging and changing deadlines </li><li> Strong analytical, structured thinking and problem-solving skills; thoroughness and ability to deliver quality output </li><li> Strong presentation skills, presentation preparation and MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); knowledge of other project management software is a plus </li><li> Excellent oral and written English proficiency </li><li> Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field </li><li> Project Management Professional (PMP) or other Project Management Certification</li></ul>
