We’re a team of dedicated people driving this mission by providing better, faster, and cheaper ways to access food through technology.<p><br></p><strong>Role Overview</strong><p><br></p>To work alongside the R&D team and help scale our recipes while maintaining the flavor and high-quality standards along with providing training to the kitchen team.<p><br></p>The successful candidate will employ their culinary and managerial skills in order to play a critical role in maintaining and enhancing our customers’ satisfaction.<p><br></p><strong>Main Responsibilities</strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Initially assist and eventually lead in scaling up of new recipes, from 3kg to 300kg. Ensuring consistency in the finish product with focus on the key attributes; visual, aroma, taste and texture which are measurable.</li><li>Be the communication bridge between R/D dept and the kitchens.</li><li>New Recipe Launches, work with the kitchens teams by demonstrating the new recipes or processes ensuring the recipe, the sequence & the process has been fully understood by the teams and the new launch has been a kitchen success.</li><li>Embrace any challenge that may arise with a curious mind. Look to solve proactively and demonstrate where the learnings were.</li><li>Assist in developing and scaling new recipes while ensuring that the flavour and quality standards are maintained.</li><li>Train the kitchen team to prepare new recipes.</li><li>Resourcefully solve any issues that arise and seize control of any problematic situation.</li><li>Must be able to clearly communicate tasks to team members.</li><li>Comply with and enforce sanitation regulations and safety standards.</li><li>Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers.</li><li>Produce high quality plates both design and taste wise.</li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Ideal Candidate</strong><p><br></p><strong>Qualifications</strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Must have had previous experience as a Senior Sous Chef</li><li>Must have 8 years of experience within the hospitality and catering industry.</li><li>Must be a proficient communicator in English. </li><li>Previous experience in a food manufacturing facility is a plus.</li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Knowledge and competency</strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Has had team leading experiences and would be able to train the kitchen team.</li><li>Outstanding communication and leadership skills</li><li>Communication will be important.
