<p>As a Senior Software Engineer at Dayra, you will be an integral part of our engineering team, responsible for architecting and building robust, scalable, and secure systems that power our operations. With your extensive engineering and industry experience, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our platform, driving innovation, and delivering exceptional solutions to our customers.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><ul><li>Lead the design, development, and maintenance of high-performance and scalable backend systems for our fintech products, ensuring they meet industry standards and best practices.</li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including frontend developers, product managers, and UX/UI designers, to deliver seamless and engaging user experiences.</li><li>Utilize your in-depth knowledge of PHP to build and maintain APIs and microservices, ensuring seamless integration with various applications and services.</li><li>Implement security measures and best practices to safeguard sensitive financial data, adhering to industry regulations and compliance standards.</li><li>Lead and participate in code reviews, ensuring high-quality code, adherence to coding standards, and identifying opportunities for code optimization and improvement.</li><li>Mentor and guide junior engineers, providing technical leadership and fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth within the team.</li><li>Continuously explore and recommend emerging technologies and tools that can enhance the performance and efficiency of our backend systems.</li><li>Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring the overall stability and reliability of our fintech applications.</li><li>Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, provide technical insights, and contribute to the overall product roadmap.</li></ul><p><br></p><p>Qualifications:</p><ul><li>Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.</li><li>A minimum of 8 years of professional experience in backend software development, with a strong focus on PHP-based projects in the fintech domain.</li><li>Extensive experience in designing and building RESTful APIs and microservices using PHP frameworks like Laravel, Symfony, or Zend.</li><li>In-depth knowledge of database systems and expertise in database design and optimization.</li><li>Proficiency in working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, along with experience in deploying and managing services in a cloud environment.</li><li>Strong understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.</li><li>Familiarity with frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and their integration with backend systems.</li><li>Solid problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.</li><li>Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.</li></ul><p><br></p><p>Benefits</p><ul><li>Private medical coverage</li><li>Annual learning and development allowance</li><li>Hybrid work policy (working-from-office/working-from-home)</li><li>Regular team activities</li><li>Plus Many more…</li></ul>
