Position Overview:
The Senior Sales Manager is a specialized professional responsible for managing and overseeing sales activities.
The ideal candidate should possess at least a high school diploma, have a minimum of 2 years of experience in international transportation and logistics, and be proficient in English at the Upper-Intermediate level.
The Senior Sales Manager reports directly to the Sales Director.
Skills
Responsibilities:
1. Engage in attracting, prospecting, and communicating with potential clients, making visits to them for this purpose.
2. Conduct negotiations, conclude contracts, and verify the client’s solvency.
3. Prepare commercial proposals in the company’s CRM system based on quotations received from different departments of the company and subcontractors.
4. Receive and review client requests to ensure proper documentation for subsequent handover to the operations department for execution.
5. Develop and monitor sales plans (monthly, quarterly, semi-annually, annually).
6. Generate sales reports and visit outcomes, promptly submitting reimbursement requests for business travel expenses.
7. Establish, maintain, and expand the customer database, inputting information into the company’s internal database within the established timelines and format specified by the company’s internal rules.
8. Record the customer interaction history in the CRM information system of the company.
9. Participate in the development and implementation of advertising projects and other events aimed at attracting new customers, stimulating sales, and increasing customer loyalty to the company’s brand.
10. When necessary and with the consent of the immediate supervisor, participate in company-client negotiations in case of a breach of commercial contract conditions by either party.
11. Research the market for products (analyze demand, consumption, motivations, fluctuations, and competitors’ activities) and its development trends, analyzing market opportunities.
12. Identify the most effective market sectors for product sales, developing a set of measures to exploit market opportunities.
Required Skills and Knowledge:
1. Knowledge of delivery terms (Incoterms 2010).
2. Familiarity with the main requirements for documentation and document flow in international multimodal transportation.
3. Comprehensive knowledge of at least one mode of transport (service) provided by the company and general knowledge of other modes of transport (services).
4. Ability to prepare commercial proposals.
5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
