<strong>JOB PURPOSE: </strong><p><br></p>To develop and implement effective strategies to achieve the overall objectives of sales and market share, explore & tap new Bancassurance opportunities with existing and new banks and effectively manage the team of IA’s / IS’s /RM’s to achieve the objectives with the designated banks.<p><br></p><strong>JOB DESCRIPTION: </strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Manage the overall insurance business in the designated banks for all lines of business (Life, A&H and Corporate Solutions);</li><li>To develop and implement effective strategies to achieve the company objectives of Sales and market share.</li><li>To train, guide, direct, support and manage the team of designated IA/IS and RMs</li><li>To explore opportunities with new banks in the territory.</li><li>To explore and develop opportunities in new channels such as Direct Marketing, Corporate Solutions, in branch and credit life.</li><li>Align with MetLife overall strategy and make sure to cascade the same within the team.</li><li>To share best practices internally and with external partners.</li><li>To liaise with management and internal departments to help develop benchmark process and guidelines to achieve the status of preferred partner in the designated banks.</li><li>Work closely with the operations team to make sure the SLA parameters are executed.</li><li>Understand and adhere to all Compliance requirements, including but not limited to, reporting of suspicious transactions, screening requirements, as applicable, and the retention of Company records; plus provide timely support and unrestricted access to information as well as attend all training requests from Compliance.</li></ul><p><br></p><strong>COMMUNICATIONS & WORKING RELATIONSHIPS: </strong><p><br></p><strong>Internal: </strong>Bancassurance Department, Marketing Department, Protection Function, Finance, Customer Service & Operation, Underwriting, Claims, IT and other internal departments of Gulf and Regional office as per need<p><br></p><strong>External:</strong> Allocated Banks/Potential new banks<p><br></p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS: </strong><p><br></p><ul><li>MBA or equal by experience </li><li>8-10 years of experience with a leading Life Insurance or Financial Institution (ideally in bancassurance) and at least 3 years in sales & relationship management</li><li>Demonstrate clear leadership skills</li><li>Results-driven</li><li>Excellent communication skills in all forms </li><li>Strong account & relationship management </li><li>Customer oriented </li><li>Problem Solving</li><li>Confident negotiator and ability to upsell</li><li>People management skills – a positive attitude in dealing with people, especially from different cultures.</li><li>Insurance qualification from a recognized body (LOMA or Chartered Insurance Institute) is a plus</li></ul><p><br></p><strong>COMPETENCIES REQUIRED: </strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Leadership skills</li><li>Sales management/ funnel management</li><li>Proactivity</li><li>Problem solving</li><li>Relationship Management/ Partnership Management</li></ul>
